'Investors have had enough': Tesla loses 'so much' value as it transforms into MAGA symbol

Donald Trump completed Tesla's MAGA heel turn by hosting an informercial for the embattled automaker owned by his "first buddy" Elon Musk.

The electric vehicles had been a liberal status symbol since hitting the market as an environmentally friendly alternative to gas-powered cars, but Musk alienated existing customers, would-be buyers and stock market investors with his political alliance with Trump and especially his efforts to fire thousands of federal workers and eliminate government agencies, reported Axios.

'Beneath any POTUS': ADL turns on Trump after 'slur' targeting Schumer

The Anti-Defamation League has backed President Donald Trump and his allies recently — including those who've faced accusations of making a Nazi salute — but found itself at odds with the president after he once again attacked Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Trump targeted Schumer, who is Jewish, on Wednesday during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in the Oval Office, as Trump responded to questions about the U.S. corporate tax rate. Trump complained that congressional Democrats aren't supporting his agenda and accused them of being out of step with the American people, and slammed them for not reacting positively to parts of his address to a joint session of Congress last week.

'Universal revulsion': CEOs of top American companies 'privately' disgusted with Trump

Several top corporate CEOs recently confided that despite their public shows of fealty to President Donald Trump, they are less than flattering of him behind closed doors.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump was the main topic of conversation a gathering of corporate executives at the Yale CEO Caucus earlier this week. The economy has been on a roller coaster ride since Trump announced — and then almost immediately withdrew — punishing new tariffs on all goods imported from Canada and Mexico. 25% tariffs on Canadian imported steel and aluminum products went into effect Wednesday, however.

GOP 'can run' from vote on Trump tariffs — but 'can't hide from voters': WSJ editorial

House Republicans are hiding from anything that would force them to vote one way or the other on President Donald Trump's controversial tariffs, wrote the conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board in an analysis published on Wednesday.

Trump enacted the tariffs, which have caused a firestorm of economic uncertainty and selloffs, under wide-ranging powers granted by Congress to let presidents declare emergencies — and they have the power to pare that authority back. But GOP leaders have no interest in being put on the spot on that, the board wrote.

Former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan laid into Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in an aggressive sparring match Wednesday that sent them both hurling jabs at each other as the GOP lawmaker twice insisted the journalist “be quiet.”

The combative exchange unfolded during a discussion on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on YouTube revolving around the immigration arrest of former Columbia University graduate student and Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil. During the back-and-forth, Crenshaw held firm that the arrest was not only legal, but also justified given Khalil’s “incitement of violence.”
