Pro-MAGA actor James Woods locked his X account after accusations resurfaced that he propositioned actress Amber Tamblyn years ago when she was 16.
The account went private July 9, according to his profile, a day after the anti-MAGA account @MAGAts_Exposed posted that Woods "has faced public allegations of predatory behavior, sexual harassment, and misconduct from multiple women."
The anti-MAGA account claimed it had been blocked by Woods after followers began attacking the actor on X.
Woods has not offered an explanation or posted publicly since his account was locked down.
MeidasTouch editor-in-chief Ron Filipkowski wanted to know: "What happened to tough guy James Woods?"
The allegations date to September 2017. Tamblyn jumped into a spat between Woods and actor Armie Hammer after Woods criticized the film "Call Me by Your Name" for depicting a romance between a 17-year-old and a 24-year-old.
"Didn't you date a 19 year old when you were 60?" Hammer shot back on Twitter, now X.
"James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once," Tamblyn wrote in response. "He wanted to take us to Vegas. 'I'm 16' I said. 'Even better' he said."
Woods fired back by calling it a lie.
Tamblyn later published an open letter in Teen Vogue laying out her account of what happened outside Mel's Diner in Hollywood.
"I told you my age because I thought you would be immediately horrified and take back your offer," she wrote. "You laughed and said, 'Even better. We'll have so much fun, I promise.'"
"But I wasn't known then, James. I was just a girl," she added.
Tamblyn then published an op-ed in the New York Times titled "I'm Done With Not Being Believed." Woods never responded.
At a 2017 MeToo march in Los Angeles, actress Elizabeth Perkins carried a sign that read: "James Woods #MeToo." Neither she nor Woods ever explained it publicly.
Never-Trump Republican strategist Rick Wilson weighed in Thursday: "Sounds like James Woods is going through some things."
