Amanda Ungaro, a former model who’s flown on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet and has claimed to hold compromising information on President Donald Trump, spilled “some serious allegations” recently to a Brazilian media outlet, famed reporter Julie K. Brown reported Tuesday.
Ungaro is the ex-partner of Paolo Zampolli, Trump’s special envoy and longtime friend. According to The New York Times, Zampolli had successfully pushed the Trump administration in 2025 to deport Ungaro. Earlier this year, Ungaro threatened to “expose everything” she knew about the president and the first lady, threats that were later suspected to be motivation for Melania Trump’s surprise statement in April in which she denied ever having a relationship with Epstein.
“Ungaro is angry. She has claimed she has a lot of kompromat on Trump, Melania and her former partner, Paolo Zampolli; that Epstein (not Zampolli) introduced Melania to Trump; and that she has documentation, including emails, that could hurt those in Trump’s world. And she is now talking to Congress,” Brown, whose reporting helped lead to Epstein’s 2019 arrest, wrote in a report published on her Substack.
Speaking with a Brazilian news outlet, Ungaro claimed that her ex-partner Zampolli was involved in a “passport-selling scheme” that involved Chinese nationals — a scheme that netted Zampolli as much as $250,000 in cash per passport sold and triggered the murder of the former president of the United Nations General Assembly, John Ashe.
Ashe was found dead in his home in 2016 and was determined to have died in a “weightlifting accident when a barbell dropped on his neck,” the Associated Press reported. At the time, Ashe was facing bribery charges related to Chinese nationals and was due in court five days after his death.
Ungaro did not provide evidence for her claims, and Brown, “having covered mob hits in the past,” admitted that the claim “sounds a bit suspicious.”
Ungaro has previously vowed to “tear down the entire system” by revealing her inside knowledge of Melania Trump, but has suggested that further disclosures were forthcoming.
“Now Ungaro is talking as if she has nothing to lose,” Brown wrote. “After all, they already arrested her, deported her, separated her from her son, kept her in an ICE camp, vowed to sue her, called her a liar and took away her livelihood. Some of the most famous whistleblowers in history are women.”
