Co-host Sunny Hostin noted that Joe Biden sat next to the first Black president for eight years and watched what the GOP did to him. She asked how Biden could still view them with such optimism.

Herschel Walker can't even 'pretend to be competent': analyst

In a column for MSNBC, political analyst Steve Benen suggested that retired football player Herschel Walker is completely out of his depth as an aspiring candidate for the Republican nomination to oppose Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).

According to Benen, a recent appearance by Walker on Fox News -- combined with his skipping a debate appearance with other Republicans seeking the nomination -- demonstrated that he has no grasp of the issues and is blatantly faking it when pressed to explain his positions.

After discussing Alabama's Republican Governor Kay Ivey's decision to go all-in on The Big Lie and declare Donald Trump the winner of the "stolen" 2020 presidential election despite all evidence to the contrary, he unleashed his attack on the entire GOP.

"Even with my family, they still don't get it," said Ojeda, a 34-year-old activist who goes by D. and uses the pronouns "they, them." "So at least I have the government to say who I am as a person."

Parkland father attends White House event weeks after being detained by police protest

WASHINGTON — Parkland father and activist Manuel Oliver wore the shoes his son Joaquin Oliver had planned to wear to prom to the White House on Monday as he attended President Joe Biden’s speech about new steps to curb gun violence. Oliver, an artist, was detained by police in February after staging a dramatic protest near the White House on the anniversary of the Parkland shooting. The banner offered a critical message to Biden that “45k peop...

Trump-defending Alan Dershowitz: No proof Hunter Biden's laptop contains incriminating evidence against the president

Attorney Alan Dershowitz, who formerly defended former Donald Trump during his first impeachment, told the conservative outlet Newsmax that he he doesn't think the investigation into Hunter Biden's emails regarding his foreign business dealings will incriminate his father, President Joe Biden.

"You'd have to prove complicity by quote, 'the big man,'" Dershowitz said. "It's not enough for 'the big man' to be mentioned in an email. There have to be emails from the person who was the target or the subject of the investigation. Remember, hearsay is inadmissible. So I think there's a long, long row to hoe before you get anywhere close to the president of the United States," he added.
