Trump melts down at Fox News and accuses hosts of refusing to mention his name

After publishing a midnight rager on Truth Social aimed at New York Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Arthur Engoron, Donald Trump has been non-stop posting on his social media platform where, in one instance, he attacked the hosts of Fox & Friends for ignoring him and his accomplishments.

With Trump's financial tax fraud trial in Manhattan postponed until Tuesday, the former president has been filling his downtime with online rants and, based upon his Fox News comments, watching TV.

What drew his ire was Fox & Friends' hosts discussing the burgeoning war in the Middle East after Israel was attacked by Hamas militants and noting anti-terrorism efforts made by former presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush without mentioning which ex-President Bush they were talking about.

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

According to Trump, they failed to mention his name and his similar efforts, which led him to accuse the network of restricting mentions of his name.

On Truth Social, he wrote: "Fox & Friends this morning stated that, under Ronald Reagan and George Bush (Which one?), there was a tough policy against Terrorists. They’re wrong on Bush, but they left out one person—'TRUMP,' who took out ISIS, al-Baghdadi, Soleimani, and everyone else who was in the way of Justice and Peace."

Moving on from the dubious claim of taking out "everyone else," Trump leveled accusations that he has become "he-who-shall-not-be-named" like Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter books at the conservative network, and the former president tried to pin the blame on retired Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) who now serves on the Fox Corporation Board of Directors.

According to Trump, "Next time maybe they could ask their Bosses, like RINO Paul RINO, for permission to use my name. The good news is, based on the Polls, the PEOPLE understand!"

Ivanka must choose 'between perjury and daddy' if she loses subpoena fight: Legal analyst

Ivanka Trump's attempt to block a subpoena issued by New York Attorney General Letitia James is a losing battle that will end with her in court facing either testifying against her father or facing possible perjury charges, former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance said Monday.

On her Substack platform, Vance suggested that Donald Trump's eldest daughter's attempt to duck the subpoena by claiming that James didn't depose her before the Manhattan fraud trial began, so she can't make her testify now, is a non-starter.

In his filing, Ivanka's attorney asserted, "Trial subpoenas are not a means for parties to get discovery, which they failed to obtain during pretrial proceedings,” before adding, "Ms. Trump is not a party in this action. Nor is Ms. Trump a New York resident. It is black-letter law that, given those two facts, Ms. Trump is beyond the jurisdiction of this Court.”

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

According to Vance, trial testimony about Trump's daughter's purchase of a penthouse located in her father’s Trump Park Avenue property, and how it is valued, is germane to the fraud case.

Writing, "She is nonetheless a fact witness in this regard, and it seems likely she’ll be ordered to testify," Vance noted, "The Attorney General says that although Ms. Trump has denied it, she benefitted from 'insider' pricing — she had an option to buy the penthouse for $8.5 million, but the Trump Organization’s financial statements valued the unit at $20,820,000."

Judge Chutkan is 'giving Trump enough rope to hang himself': MSNBC legal analyst

MSNBC legal analyst Joyce Vance said on Monday that Judge Tanya Chutkan was very skillfully allowing former President Donald Trump to further incriminate himself by violating a gag order she placed on him.

'There are no victims, except me': Trump flips out on Letitia James in midnight rant

Despite warnings from New York Judge Arthur Engoron to not attack court officials, Donald Trump went on an extended rant near midnight on Sunday, lashing out at the judge who has already fined him $5000, in addition to once again attacking New York Attorney General Letitia James.

In a post that complains about the court proceedings linked to the $250 million fraud lawsuit filed by James, the former president proclaimed that he is the only victim and the case should be "dropped immediately."

On Truth Social, Trump snarled, "In the Fake Biden Inspired Fraud Case against me, brought by the CORRUPT A.G., Letitia 'Peekaboo' James of New York State, a sadly Crime Infested Place, where people and businesses are fleeing to other States in record numbers, it is her and the highly partisan Judge, who has been overturned many times, who defrauded me and the public by valuing my assets at a fraction of what they are worth in order to try and convict me, without a trial or jury, of FRAUD."

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

He added, "She got him to Value Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount. My assets are worth MUCH MORE than listed on the 100% DISCLAIMED Financial Statements, and there are NO VICTIMS, EXCEPT ME."

With that, he once again claimed the trial is nothing more than an attempt to derail his re-election bid.

"We WON on Statute of Limitations, and other things, at the Appeals Court," he continued, "AND THIS RADICAL LEFT, TRUMP HATING JUDGE, REFUSES TO ACCEPT THEIR DECISION. THIS CASE SHOULD BE DROPPED, IMMEDIATELY. IT’S AMAZING! HE IS OUT OF CONTROL, AND TOTALLY AFRAID OF PEEKABOO. A COMPLETE MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE & ELECTION INTERFERENCE!"

Trump swears he never leaked nuclear secrets to 'red-haired weirdo' Australian billionaire

Donald Trump ended his evening with two major rants on Truth Social, but one triggered by a bombshell New York Times report.

One has become a kind of mantra for the ex-president, attacking New York Attorney General Letitia James using a racist moniker he favors, as well as the judge he claims hates him.

MSNBC host smirks at plan for Alina Habba to 'grill' Michael Cohen in Tuesday hearing

MSNBC host and former Florida prosecutor Katie Phang made a guest appearance on "The Alex Witt Show" on Sunday afternoon where she reported that Donald Trump lawyer Alina Habba has been tabbed to cross-examine former Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen when he appears in court on Tuesday.

Cohen is scheduled to testify as part of the former president's financial fraud trial where New York Attorney General Letitia James is asking for a $250 million judgment against Trump and the Trump Organization.

With the former president also expected to be in attendance, Phang told her MSNBC colleague, "Yes. I expect to see some fireworks," while issuing a small smirk and explaining Habba was expected to "grill" Cohen.

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

She then added Habba "...will be doing the questioning on behalf of Donald Trump when it comes to the cross-examination of Donald Trump's former fixer, Michael Cohen."

"Michael Cohen has withstood hours upon hours of grilling, not only from congressional investigators but from law enforcement," she recalled. "I would not be surprised to see Michael Cohen be able to hold his ground, to make sure that he doesn't budge under any type of attempt of cross-examination by Alina Habba."
