Ex-GOP strategist blows up 'clownishness' of Trump assassination conspiracy theory

Former GOP staffer Tim Miller laid into the MAGA universe for convincing themselves that a boilerplate reminder of the FBI's policy on deadly force in the Mar-a-Lago classified document search warrant proved that FBI agents were on a mission to "assassinate" former President Donald Trump, in a segment on MSNBC Wednesday.

Anchor Joy Reid read off some of the most outrageous responses: "Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'The Biden DOJ and FBI were planning to assassinate President Trump and gave the green light.' Representative Paul Gosar: 'The Biden administration ordered a hit on Trump at Mar-a-Lago.' Christina Bobb, lawyer of Donald Trump: 'WTF. They were prepared to kill me?
