Trump’s 'unhinged' behavior ignites 25th Amendment chatter — but expert warns of slim odds

As scrutiny rises over President Donald Trump's rambling speeches and bizarre AI videos posted to his Truth Social platform, calls to invoke the 25th Amendment are growing — but there's a "deliberately high bar" to pass.

Trump lawyer makes stunning argument to discredit letter to Epstein in court

A lawyer for President Donald Trump argued Monday that a bawdy letter President Donald Trump allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein – that was later released by a Republican-controlled House committee – could not be proven to be the same one described in a report from The Wall Street Journal, making it an “improper” exhibit in court.

The lawyer, Alejandro Brito, made the argument via a court filing late on Monday in the case regarding Trump’s lawsuit against the Journal for its July report on the letter, which Trump has denied writing. James Comer (R-KY) – released additional files on Epstein in September, which included the letter, a birthday message written atop a crude sketch of a naked woman’s torso.

Legal experts say Supreme Court's 'arrogance' is backfiring on Trump's agenda

The U.S. Supreme Court’s growing “arrogance” toward lower courts is now slowing some of President Donald Trump’s key initiatives, according to legal analysts Dahlia Lithwick and Mark Joseph Stern. After an appeals court refused to lift an injunction blocking Trump’s plan to deploy the National Guard in Chicago, the Slate writers said judges across the political spectrum — including Trump appointees — are uniting to push back against a high court that has dismissed their fact-finding and legal reasoning. “They’re not just fact-checking,” Stern said. “They’re reality-checking.”
