Journalist and biographer Michael Wolff dropped a “bombshell claim” regarding President Donald Trump’s campaign staff and Natalie Harp, the president’s 35-year-old female aide whose unusually close relationship with Trump has unsettled the White House and earned her the nickname human "binky.”
Appearing on an episode of “Inside Trump’s Head Podcast,” Wolff, a longtime Trump biographer, recalled supposed “X-rated” discussions, The Daily Beast reported Friday, that Trump’s 2024 campaign staff would have regarding Harp.
“Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign staff questioned whether he was ‘spanking’ Natalie Harp, the president’s longtime biographer has alleged,” the Beast’s report reads. “Trump’s staff joked about him ‘patting’ his assistant, then in her early 30s, in places aside from her head, the author Michael Wolff tells the Inside Trump’s Head Podcast.”
Harp’s close relationship with Trump was thrust into the spotlight earlier this week after Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) mocked the president for wanting to “travel with Natalie” more than “do his job” as president, remarks that sparked an explosion of online interest in the 35-year-old aide. In the days since, new details have emerged, including full copies of adoring letters she sent Trump, and unearthed video showing her “devotion” to Trump existed years before she joined the administration.
While Harp has only received heightened media attention over the past several days, Wolff claimed that her odd companionship with Trump stretches back years and was an open secret among those in Trump’s circle.
“Everyone was aware. This was upfront, the strangeness of this relationship, the strangeness of her submissiveness to him,” Wolff said, as reported by the Beast. “And, you know, because it actually put everyone else into – everyone else who has to be submissive to the president seemed not submissive enough because of how extreme her submissiveness was.”
