Trump-appointed judge orders marshals to 'fetch' Jack Smith's staff after lawyer was late to court

One of Donald Trump's appointed judges, Trevor N. McFadden in Washington, D.C., was so miffed over a lawyer being late that he demanded special counsel Jack Smith explain himself, MSNBC reported.

The incident began when lawyer Stan Woodward, who is paid by Donald Trump's PAC, turned up late to court for a Jan. 6 insurrectionist hearing. Woodward is also representing Trump's former aide Will Russell, who was asked to appear before the grand jury on Thursday, Politico's Kyle Cheney tweeted.

Ex-Georgia GOP chair argues he can't be indicted in Fani Willis' election probe

In Michigan this week, 16 fake electors that signed their names to a false document proclaiming Donald Trump the 2020 winner, were indicted on forgery, conspiracy and other charges.

Fraudster who was granted clemency by Trump is accused of running massive Ponzi scheme: Feds

Eliyahu Weinstein has been charged with fraud again, just two years after he had the remainder of a 24-year prison sentence commuted by Trump.

The case comes from the SEC Securities and Exchange Commission, which charged six people for a multi-million dollar scheme similar to a Ponzi scheme. The department said in a blistering press release that it had been "orchestrated by criminal recidivist Eliyahu Weinstein."

Special counsel subpoenas surveillance video from Georgia election count

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Wednesday that the feds have requested the surveillance videos from the State Farm Arena where the 2020 election count and recount were carried out.

"In a grand jury subpoena dated May 31, the Georgia Secretary of State’s office was directed to hand over 'any and all security video or security footage, or any other video of any kind, depicting or taken at or near' State Farm and 'any associated data,'" the report said.
