Almost a decade after the "Occupy Wall Street" protests began in Zuccotti Park, a similar protest may be coming back -- but this time led by young Republicans.
"The New York Young Republican Club is organizing a protest on Wall Street to have our voice heard! We are sick of Wall Street bailouts on the taxpayer dime while the little guy gets stomped!" the New York Young Republican Club announced on Facebook.
The Facebook announcement linked to an EventBrite post titled, "Re-Occupy Wall Street."
While the 2011 protests focused on wealth inequality under the slogan "we are the 99%" -- the Republican protests come after the party passed major tax cuts for the rich during the Trump administration.
