QAnon Shaman's lawyer says smoking crack 'is not bad on occasion' while defending his client

In the wake of Jacob Chansley, also known as the "QAnon Shaman," being sentenced to over 3 years in prison for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, Chansley's lawyer spoke with reporters, saying that it's unfair to characterize his client as an "insurrectionist."

"An insurrectionist?" attorney Albert Watkins said. "Look up the word -- are you gonna follow the guy who's naked, tattooed nipples, January, D.C., hours outside, with horns, face paint, in a fur, and say, 'Yeah, that's the guy I want. I'm following him.'"

Watkins added that no person would follow Chansley "unless you're smoking crack," which he then added "is not bad on occasion."
