'Give the power to the Democrats': Speaker at pro-Trump rally calls to oust Republicans

Conservative talk radio host Randy Bishop told a group of Donald Trump supporters that they should put Democrats in power unless Republicans take action to overturn the 2020 election.

Bishop made the remarks at a rally at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing.

"Here's the facts," Bishop said. "Whoever won the presidential election in 2020 gets his butt kicked in the midterms next year. Stop and think about that! Did these Republicans and other Republicans across the country really want Donald Trump to win? No!"

"We may not get an audit," he added. "You know why? They want to keep the power for themselves next year."

Bishop went on to suggest that Republican lawmakers should be punished if they refuse to pursue an audit of the 2020 election.

"Tell them if they do not do an audit, you will not put up signs, you will not knock on doors, you will not give them money and you sure the hell won't vote for them next year!" he exclaimed. "If the fix is in, the Democrats are going to win anyway. Right? Because they won't get rid of these machines."

Bishop concluded: "Then guess what? Give the power to the Democrats and let them run it right into the ground and we'll kick their ass in '24!"
