A robocall impersonating President Joe Biden is urging his supporters in New Hampshire not to vote in Tuesday's primary election.

The president's name doesn't actually appear on the state's ballot because election officials set the primary date ahead of Feb. 3, when South Carolina will hold the first sanctioned contest under newly implemented Democratic National Committee rules, and the robocall appears intended to undermine a campaign to write in Biden's name, reported NBC News.

During a panel discussion on Tuesday's New Hampshire GOP primary, MSNBC contributor John Heilemann suggested that the enthusiasm for Donald Trump's third run for the presidency, outside of his rabid base, is much less than it seems.

Speaking with hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, Heilemann noted that Trump rallies lack the energy of his previous runs and that his rallies are poorly attended and have been moved to smaller venues to make the former president look better.

"I mean, look, Joe, you mentioned that event," he began. "I was thinking about you on Saturday night. It's the SNHU Arena across the street from where I am now. It's a big sports arena, they do hockey games and basketball games stuff there. We were there together four years ago, Willie [Geist], you, me, [Mike] Barnicle. We were all out there, there was a huge snowstorm. It seats 10,000 people and it was packed to the gills in 2016. The other night here, there were empty seats all over the arena."

"They said there were a few thousand people there, and there probably were a few thousand, but that seats 10,000; it was way less than half filled, and even in the lower level, you could see just seat after seat after seat with no one in it," he reported. "Last night, you know, he did an event on Sunday night in Rochester: the place as a capacity of 700. I mean he filled 700 seats, but, you know, Trump used to brag about the 10,000 people, 12,000 people. 'We kept 10,000 people outside, as far as the eye can see.'"

"He is getting more people to turn out than Nikki Haley, but the phenomenon, the energy of Donald Trump that you saw on the ground here, that we saw on the ground here in 2016, to a lesser extent in 2020, partly because of the pandemic, it's ebbed a great deal in this primary," he added.

ABC News' Jon Karl on Monday marveled at the fact that Trump has made multiple slipups in recent days, including in a speech where he seemed to confuse GOP rival Nikki Haley with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

"Donald Trump is truly confused about who Nikki Haley is, thinks somehow that she was in charge of security at the Capitol on January 6th," Karl said during an appearance on "Good Morning America." "We've seen him confuse Joe Biden with Barack Obama, he thinks that he beat Obama. We saw at one point, he talked about how Biden was going to get us into World War II... There have been several moments on the campaign trail where he has seemed, quite frankly, out of it."

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski trashed Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) for downplaying Donald Trump's confused babbling.

The former president repeatedly mixed up GOP rival Nikki Haley with former House speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in a campaign speech, and the "Morning Joe" co-hosts shamed Stefanik for insisting that Trump had not "lost a step" and was, in fact, mentally sharper than ever.

Conservative Charlie Sykes bashed Republicans who are casting about for an alternative to Donald Trump but would still vote for him if he's the Republican nominee.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appeared to be a strong challenger to Trump when he first entered the race, but he became the latest GOP candidate to falter against the quadruple-indicted former president, and Sykes told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that even anti-Trump Republicans would eventually coalesce around him.

On Monday morning, MSNBC "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough detailed the extensive gaffes and ramblings of Donald Trump that appear to be increasing with his every appearance and suggested there is good evidence that the former president is "addled."

As the MSNBC host noted, the Trump campaign is hoping to make President Joe Biden's age a central theme of their attacks, but the GOP has a serious Trump problem.

"You know, I spent a lot of time with Joe Biden. I can tell you, Joe Biden knows where he is. He knows what decade he's in, he sure as hell knows who he is running against — there's just really no comparison here," he exclaimed. "Yeah, you want to talk about who is addled? This is an easy one. Let's talk about who is addled. Who is addled is a guy who can't even remember that Barack Obama hasn't been president of the United States in eight years."

"Yeah, and you have to think, is this age?" co-host Mika Brzezinski offered. "It could be. But it also could just be the mountain of legal actions against this man, just crushing him and making him so stressed that he's literally confused."

"Because no one person could handle all the cases that he has against him, all the lawyers he has to deal with, all the lawyers he can't get. I mean, some of these cases can put him away in prison for the rest of his life," she added.

"Except for the fact he is in 2016 most of the time; even in 2016, he forgets who he ran against. He talks about the landslide victory against Barack Obama," Scarborough insisted. "Jonathan Lemire, let me bring you in here because I know you've been seeing this. He talks about the landslide against Obama. He talks about Obama so much as president of the United States, that on the radio show, [Fox host] Brian Kilmeade has to interrupt him and correct him.... his mind is scrambled eggs when he gets up there and gets tired. He really thinks that he is running against Barack Obama. just like he thought Nikki Haley was speaker of the House on January 6th."

The social media site failed so severely that the launch became the presidential announcement not heard around the world.

After releasing the video suspending his campaign, Marc Caputo unleashed a torrent of mockery on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

Speaking to CNN's Jim Acosta Sunday, Caputo and Republican Scott Jennings discussed the downfall of DeSantis, but it was the former who waxed poetic about the governor's personality.
