The House Ethics Committee on Wednesday failed to release what was expected to be a damning investigative report involving former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), but that hasn’t ended speculation that the report could come out one way or another.

Almost immediately after reports surfaced that the ethics committee had deadlocked in its deliberations on whether to release their report, a flood of calls took over social media for Democrats to leak it. Some even called out specific Congressional Democrats on the ethics committee.

Democratic Rep. Sean Casten (IL) told MSNBC on Wednesday that he has filed a resolution that would force a vote on the full House to decide whether to release the Ethics Committee investigation report on former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

Gaetz was under investigation for engaging in a sexual relationship with an underage teen, paying for sex, and illicit drug use, all of which he denies.
