'Total nonsense': Expert calls out Marco Rubio's wild claim from Trump cabinet meeting

Secretary of State Marco Rubio boasted in this week's Cabinet meeting of the United States' deportation agreements with other countries — but a prominent immigration expert slammed his remarks as a bald falsehood.

"One of the things we’ve achieved is we have 20 countries around the world who have signed agreements to allow us to deport people to those countries," said Rubio in the meeting, adding that these are "safe" countries.

Pam Bondi hit with damning ethics complaint accusing her of running DOJ 'like a weapon'

Former Attorney General Pam Bondi was hit with a "damning" ethics complaint on Wednesday, according to reports.

The complaint was filed by several legal groups — Lawyers Defending American Democracy, Democracy Defenders Fund, and Lawyers for the Rule of Law — against the ousted Trump administration member with the Florida Bar Association. The complaint urged an investigation into allegations of misconduct during her time leading the Department of Justice, where about 2,500 attorneys left the DOJ.

Legal expert floats disturbing theory why Pam Bondi is returning to the Trump admin

A legal expert floated a disturbing theory on Wednesday about why former Attorney General Pam Bondi is returning to President Donald Trump's administration.

Glenn Kirschner, a former federal prosecutor and host of the "Justice Matters" podcast, said in a new reaction video that Bondi's return is another way for the Trump administration to continue hiding the Jeffrey Epstein files from the public. Bondi faced considerable criticism from Republican and Democratic lawmakers in Congress over her handling of the files, leading to multiple fiery exchanges during hearings in the House and Senate.

DHS chief blames pepper-sprayed senator for being attacked during ICE facility visit

Department of Homeland Security leader Markwayne Mullin dodged responsibility for a senator being pepper-sprayed outside an immigration detention facility, saying it was the senator's own fault, according to reporting from inside a recent Cabinet meeting.

“Now you have one of the senators who complained because he got splattered with a pepper ball,” Mullin said, referring to Sen. Andy Kim (D-N.J.). “I’m sorry, you probably shouldn’t have been there.”

MAGA freaks out over pictures of Trump's enemies vacationing together

MAGA had plenty to say on Wednesday after reports surfaced that two of President Donald Trump's enemies were vacationing together in Costa Rica.

In an image shared by TMZ, vocal critic Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) poses for a photo in the sand next to former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and their respective significant others. Massie, who challenged Trump's policies, worked closely with Greene to force the Justice Department to release the Epstein files. The two conservatives have been targeted in a multitude of attacks from Trump — and now MAGA. The embattled Republican lost his seat in the primary after Trump endorsed challenger Ed Gallrein in the most expensive House primary election in history. Greene resigned from her position in Congress at the end of her term in January after months of calling out the president and his administration amid an ongoing economic crisis, criticizing Trump's policies and focus on international matters.

Dozens of ex-federal judges launch bid to kill MAGA slush fund: 'The court was deceived'

A group of 35 former federal judges has filed legal action to try to forcibly reopen the Trump v. IRS lawsuit, as a means of shutting down the president's "settlement" with his own government that creates a $1.776 billion "Anti-Weaponization" slush fund.

President Donald Trump previously filed the suit, seeking $10 billion from his own tax agency for alleged negligence in keeping his tax information safe, after a whistleblower exposed confidential information about his returns.

Stephen Miller hit with devastating clapback after wildly false claim about candidate

The Democratic National Committee didn't reach for a policy argument when White House senior adviser Stephen Miller deliberately misgendered Texas Senate nominee James Talarico on Wednesday. They went straight for the jugular.

After the DNC posted a photo of Talarico — a cisgender man — declaring it was "time to take back Texas," Miller fired back with a false claim: "The Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender senate candidate."

Trump's ex-border chief opposes MAGA scheme to paralyze airports — for a surprising reason

President Donald Trump's new Homeland Security Secretary, Markwayne Mullin, is now actively floating the idea of stripping international airports in liberal cities of Customs and Border Protection officers, paralyzing their ability to accept international flights until they agree to roll back "sanctuary" laws limiting local police cooperation with federal immigration agents.

But the plan has a surprise opponent in Gregory Bovino, the former Border Patrol commander who oversaw Trump's invasion of Minneapolis. Not because he has any respect for cities' right to adopt sanctuary laws, however.

'Alarming': More than 700K kids lose food aid after Trump's big beautiful bill

More than 700,000 children have lost access to food stamps in 12 states with available data since President Donald Trump signed the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" into law — and experts warn the true national toll is far worse.

A new analysis published Wednesday by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities found that 728,492 children lost SNAP benefits in those states between July 2025 and April 2026 — nearly half of the 1.6 million total participants who dropped off the rolls in that period. The nonpartisan research group cautioned that the data covers only states that publicly report child caseload figures, meaning the real number is likely much higher.

MAGA host hits Republican over Paxton's 'moral failures': 'Corruption is a feature'

A Texas congressman dodged questions about Ken Paxton's scandals on Wednesday, pivoting to culture war attacks on the Democrat who will face the newly minted GOP Senate nominee in November.

The confrontation came on the Charlie Kirk Show, where host Andrew Kolvet pressed Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) to respond to critics — including New York Times conservative columnist David French — who argued that Republican primary voters actively embrace corruption rather than merely tolerate it.
