The family of Virginia Giuffre, among the most outspoken victims of Jeffrey Epstein who died by suicide earlier this year, called out lawmakers blocking a probe into the disgraced financier Wednesday during an unprecedent bi-partisan press conference in Washington, D.C.

“This is about justice against the rich and powerful who have stolen something from these women and many children: their freedom,” said Sky Roberts, Giuffre’s brother, speaking to well over 100 attendees at the presser at the Capitol steps. “The freedom to live their life without mental and physical scars that have been inflicted upon them by those who thought they were untouchable.”

'Lift the curtain on these files!' Epstein survivor shakes in fear demanding transparency

Haley Robson was visibly shaking as she told the story of being one of the many survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy financier arrested for molesting girls and trafficking them.

Robson talked about the fear she felt being pressured by Epstein after he sexually abused her for the first time. She said she rode home sobbing. Epstein then allegedly demanded that if she didn't want to service him, then she would be forced to find other girls she knew. So, she brought him more of the teens until one finally called the police. It was then that, despite being a victim herself, Robson said the police named her a co-conspirator.

Watch: Epstein survivors call out Trump admin and GOP lawmakers at bipartisan presser

Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) kicked off Tuesday a bi-partisan press conference calling for the release of all files on Jeffrey Epstein, a conference featuring ten Epstein victims, many of whom had never shared their stories publicly before.

The presser will see the two lawmakers push for further support of their discharge petition, a legislative tool that would, given it receives enough signatures, force a vote on a measure that would compel the Justice Department to release all files it holds on Epstein, the disgraced financier who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, and is alleged to have run a blackmail operation targeting powerful figures.

'Frail' Trump's 'proof of life' press conference failed to hide his humiliation: analyst

A combination of questions about his health, legal setbacks and a summit of world leaders in China that seemed to have been pulled together to needle Donald Trump turned the Labor Day weekend into one of “humiliation” for the president, writes columnist Amanda Marcotte.

Reflecting on Trump’s abbreviated, by the president’s standards, 45-minute press conference held on Tuesday, the Salon columnist observed it appeared the White House was doing damage control after a weekend of weakness and, instead, may have made matters worse.

'It will be ugly': Conservative paints picture of what will be unearthed when Trump dies

“When Donald Trump dies, the myth will begin to decay almost instantly; his cult will keep the flame alive for a while, but the records will outlive the rally faithful,” Wilson wrote on his Substack “Against All Enemies."

Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) say the Kentucky Republican was engaged in "dirty work" on behalf of the White House.
