'Incredibly sick!' MAGA melts down at CNN over report on new ICE tracking app

MAGA adherents, including those in the White House, had a full-blown meltdown over a CNN report on an app called ICEBlock that tracks the activity of Department of Homeland Security officers targeting undocumented migrants for deportation.

CNN's Clare Duffy reported Monday that the tech developer "wants it to be an early-warning system about the location of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. He says he does not want people interfering with those officers' activity, but he does want people to avoid them altogether, if they want."

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt learned about the report at Monday's press briefing

One reporter asked Leavitt to comment on "why CNN would be promoting such an app."

"Surely, it sounds like this would be an incitement of further violence on our ICE officers," Leavitt said.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement posted a statement to social media from acting director Todd Lyons, saying, “CNN’s promotion of an ‘ICE spotting’ app is reckless and irresponsible. Advertising an app that basically paints a target on federal law enforcement officers’ backs is sickening...Is this simply reckless 'journalism' or overt activism?"

Stephen Miller, White House deputy chief of staff for policy, posted on social media, "CNN is openly helping invaders and insurrectionists sabotage ICE."

Congress also got in on the action, with Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) posting that CNN is "pushing an app that helps DOXX ICE agents in real time...Will Apple and Google keep this in their app stores? Will Congress act as fast to ban this as they did with TikTok? Because if exposing American law enforcement to danger doesn’t raise red flags, what will?"

Trump's "border czar," Tom Homan, told right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson he was demanding a Department of Justice investigation.

"A national media outlet forecasting law enforcement operations. DOJ needs to look at this. Send a strong message," Homan said. "This is disgusting. It's a dangerous job, this puts the danger at a whole new level."

"Populist" commentator @joma_gc wrote, "Incredibly sick. CNN reporter @claresduffy did a puff piece with the developer of an app that allows users to track ICE agents in real time. CNN is now providing free advertising for an app that aims to get ICE agents hurt and/or killed in the line of duty. Why is Apple and Google allowing this on their app stores? This should be removed immediately."

Libs of TikTok wrote, "CNN knows exactly what they’re doing," and @AmericaPapaBear posted CNN "needs to be charged with aiding and abetting criminal activity!!"

GOP senator admits he has 'minimal evidence' to support right-wing conspiracy

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) was forced to admit Friday on "The Benny Show" that he had little evidence to support a right-wing theory that the Chinese government conspired to interfere in the 2020 election — and then blamed Joe Biden for a cover-up.

To introduce the topic, MAGA podcaster Benny Johnson said Congress had "credible whistleblowers" showing the Chinese government was trying to "put fake IDs into the system here, in this country in order to rig the mail-in balloting process, which makes a ton of sense to us knowing how loose those systems and securities were."

He continued, "The border patrol were able to nab 20,000 fake ballots that were printed for Chinese nationals trying to smuggle across our border...and now we have Chinese students voting illegally in the 2024 electionthey're being charged. So, this really does stand to reason — can you explain, like, the evidence that you have right now for this scheme?"

"Well, in terms of the evidence I have, it's pretty minimal," Ron Johnson admitted. He then pivoted to attack Biden.

"You've had four years of the Biden administration being able to cover this stuff up. If they found evidence themselves they probably destroyed it," Ron Johnson claimed. "You got people not talking, getting the story straight. So, it's always difficult to prove criminal activity beyond a reasonable doubt because criminals cover up their activity.

"So, this is not easy to do. What you can do is, you can find threads and you gotta pull on those threads to see if there's more documentation, more evidence. But, again, just don't expect some bombshell revelation that provides you all the information, all the receipts, all the evidence you need to convict people. That's not how these investigations work."

Earlier this month, the Justice Department announced it filed a criminal complaint charging one University of Michigan student, Haoxiang Gao, who was "a citizen and national of the People’s Republic of China, with false claims to register or vote and voting by aliens."

The news release also took a swipe at Biden.

Gao surrendered his passport, the release said, "but on January 19, 2025—the day before the new administration took office in Washington—Gao jumped bond and fled the country on a flight bound for Shanghai, China."

'Drag you down': MAGA attorney delivers ominous and profane threat to Dem AG

MAGA attorney Mike Davis posted insults and threats on social media against New York Attorney General Letitia James after news broke Thursday that the Department of Justice had launched a criminal probe into alleged mortgage fraud.

Federal Housing Finance Agency director William Pulte sent a letter last month to the DOJ requesting the investigation, alleging that James may have “falsified bank documents and property records to acquire government backed assistance and loans and more favorable loan terms.”

James came to the attention of MAGA world when she successfully prosecuted Donald Trump for fraud and won a $454 million judgment against him and his real estate company.

Davis referenced James in a vulgar post on X on Thursday and included a video clip of an interview with right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson.

"Big Tish James made up weak charges against President Trump, and karma boomeranged back in record time," Davis posted. "Allegedly lying on a mortgage application about where you really live is no joke. As she said herself, no one person is above the law. The precedent is set. Justice is coming, and it needs to make an example out of Big Tish’s fat a--."

In the video clip, Johnson snickered as Davis pontificated: "I would say to Big Tish, lawyer up, because nobody's above the law. And there's pretty damning evidence that you lied on your mortgage application for your Virginia home — you said that was your primary residence, which is clearly a lie because you are the New York attorney general. And as the New York attorney general you are required by New York statutes to have your primary residence in the state of New York, so, you have a lot of explaining to do in the eastern district of Virginia when they indict your fat a--, and they drag you down and make you sit through a federal trial."

Last month, James's office told CNN they were looking into potential insider trading by officials and associates after Trump announced, then paused, sweeping tariffs that caused the stock markets to fluctuate wildly.

'Silly man': GOP senator skewered by 9/11 responder for promoting conspiracy theory

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) was taken down a peg over his promotion of a long-debunked 9/11 conspiracy theory that he espoused on a far-right podcast Wednesday.

Johnson appeared on The Benny Show to discuss his desire for hearings on 9/11, specifically the destruction of Building Seven, which collapsed hours after terrorists flew jumbo jets into the Twin Towers. Johnson promoted the theory that the attack itself didn't cause Building Seven to collapse.

"There are a host of questions that I want, and I will be asking, quite honestly, now that my eyes have been opened up," Johnson told The Benny Show's podcast.

9/11 first responder John Feal joined CNN's Brianna Keilar, where he called Johnson "a silly man."

"Right now, there's no legislation being done, there's no governing, and they're distracting their base and the American people with nonsense," Feal said. "On the surface, this is silly and pathetic."

Feal added, "If Ron Johnson really wants to know what happened on 9/11, I can meet with him, which, we will be meeting with his office on Tuesday of next week when we're in D.C. I'll let him know that innocent lives were lost on 9/11. Heroes died racing towards those innocent lives, and subsequently, 137,000 people are now sick because of the aftermath of 9/11."

Feal continued, "Ron Johnson's priorities are backwards. If he truly, really wants to know, he would put humanity first. And, with this administration, with the cuts to NIOSH (The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) that administers the World Trade Center health program, this just gets worse and worse for those who are sick and dying."

Feal said that there are more than 39,000 people in the World Trade Center Health Program who have cancer.

"Many of them will die because of the cuts that were made," Feal said. "We're in D.C. to get legislation passed. Ron Johnson can start by co-sponsoring S-739, and then I'll have a serious conversation with him. But we're going to meet with his office on Tuesday, and I'm going to let them know that their boss is silly, that their boss is putting conspiracy theories before human life," he said.

"You know, if you go back in history after a historic event, two things happen: conspiracy theories or advocacy," Feal said. "That's what separates me and Ron Johnson. I chose advocacy."

MAGA conspiracists claim many Republicans implicated in Trump assassination efforts

Right-wing commentators Benny Johnson and Mike Cernovich blamed "The Deep State and Ukraine" for perpetuating two assassination attempts on Donald Trump as he campaigned in Butler County, PA, last July; and Palm Beach County, FL, in September.

Johnson hosted Cernovich on his podcast and posted to X Friday, "Unravel the assassination plot against Trump, it's going to implicate many Senators and members of Congress. The Deep State and Ukraine tried to take out our President."

On the podcast, Johnson asked, "What should happen if Ukraine is found to have been assisting in the assassination of Donald Trump? Even if this is a low-level military guy — and the 17-year-old that was nabbed, all we know according to the FBI is that he was communicating with a Ukrainian number, that he thought was Ukraine. We said on the show it might have been an undercover agent. Who knows?"

The Secret Service counter-sniper team shot and killed Thomas Crooks after the teenager used an assault rifle to graze Trump on the ear. During his shooting spree, Crooks killed an audience member and critically injured two others.

Johnson continued, "But Ryan Routh was communicating with Ukraine! We know that for sure,"

Routh was caught allegedly aiming a rifle at Trump who was playing golf at his country club near West Palm Beach. Routh was arrested a short time later.

Johnson continued, "Because we've seen Ryan Routh on the frontlines, holding arms in Ukraine, recruiting for Ukraine, with Ukrainian flags, fighting in bunkers. Ryan Routh had the connections — he was in Ukraine multiple times...And, so, we know, like someone in the Ukrainian military was trying to get him an RPG to blow our president out of the sky."

Cernovich said the story "will obviously be buried because the implications are too much." He continued, "If you unravel the Ukraine assassination plot against Trump, that's going to implicate way too many Republican senators, way too many Republican members of Congress...But, I think by now, anybody with a brain can tell that elements of the Deep State working with Ukrainian elements of the Deep State did try to take out our president."

'Same way we investigated the Bidens!' Republican vows criminal probe of Dem fundraiser

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is vowing to file criminal charges against Democratic fundraising machine ActBlue over fraud allegations.

Comer appeared with right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson, who posted to X on Thursday, "Rep. James Comer and the FBI to bring CRIMINAL CHARGES against those behind ActBlue, The Largest Money Laundering Scheme in U.S. history: "We are going forward with our investigation. Their lawyers are leaving… This will be the end of the Democratic Party."

ActBlue is a left-leaning nonprofit organization that says it caters to "small-dollar donors" who want to "transform power structures in our country."

Comer said the "tons and tons and tons" of donations "in $10, $20 increments," are a "red flag" that could point to fraud.

"This thing is just rotten!" Johnson said. "I don't know if we have the direct evidence just yet, but man, you sure can put the pieces together and say that ActBlue must be one of the largest money laundering organs this side of the Biden family."

Comer agreed, saying, "And that's the same way we're going to investigate this, the same way we investigated the Bidens. We're starting with the suspicious activities reports. These are the bank violations. If anyone commits a financial crime, the banks will catch it."

Comer attempted to prove that President Joe Biden and his family were involved in an "influence peddling" scheme, but no solid proof meant nothing came of the investigation. Comer released a book in January about his suspicions.

"We tried to do this before the November election, but the Biden administration would not cooperate with us," Comer told Johnson of the ActBlue probe.

"Have you asked [FBI Director] Kash [Patel]?" Johnson asked. "I know you're very close with Kash. Have you asked him if there's an FBI investigation into this? Do you have any confirmation?"

"I promised Kash I won't talk about our conversations on interviews," Comer said. "But I'll tell you this, I have 100% confidence in Kash Patel. And I just light up when anyone mentions Kash Patel's name! Because I've had to deal with Christopher Wray for the last 2 1/2 years. Kash Patel is a breath of fresh air."

'Hilarious!' MAGA mocks Selena Gomez as she sobs about 'her people' being deported

MAGA conservatives pounced on actress and singer Selena Gomez for posting a video on social media in which she laments the mass deportations underway throughout the United States.

In the video posted to X then later removed, Gomez says, “I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something."

Podcaster Candace Owens commented, "This is objectively hilarious."

Fox News contributor and podcast host Tomi Lahren posted, "Does she realize the people who have been arrested and deported so far are all criminal aliens? Many of them rapists and murderers? Pretty sick to cry that they have to leave… That’s what happens when you’re an ill informed moron celebrity."

Lahren also posted her own video chastising Gomez, writing "Certified moron @selenagomez crying for criminal illegal aliens is really something else. This is why we don’t take our political advice from Disney child stars."

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, wrote, "Selena Gomez sobs uncontrollably amid ramped up deportations of illegal aliens: 'I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something.' "My people?" Aren't you American? Where was the sobbing over the 100,000 Americans dead from fentanyl poisoning? Where were these tears over the 340,000 children who went missing after being trafficked over our border? Why wasn't there a breakdown for Rachel Nungary, Rachel Morin, or Laken Riley? I guess those Americans weren't 'your people?'"

Political commentator Benny Johnson wrote, "BREAKING: Selena Gomez shares a video BAWLING over the mass deportations. Where is the video of her crying over the 300,000 missing children?"

Gomez, who has described herself as "a proud third-generation American-Mexican," reportedly removed the video after receiving the vitriolic posts.

Gomez executive produced the 2019 Netflix documentary series called "Living Undocumented," about eight immigrant families living illegally in the United States. She also wrote a personal essay for Time magazine titled, "'I Feel Afraid For My Country.' Selena Gomez on America's Immigration Crisis."
