NewsNation's Chris Cuomo pressured former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino on X Monday over what he has done to give the public closure over the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking case files — and he threw a public meltdown in response.

The exchange came after Bongino went on the offensive against far-right former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson, who is claiming to have evidence that the Trump administration "shut down" the investigation into the president's own attempted assassination on the campaign trail in Butler, Pennsylvania in 2024.

Bongino, himself a far-right podcaster dating back to before his brief time with the FBI, repeatedly took to X, demanding Carlson show his evidence....

The former Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Dan Bongino, has offered up a swear-filled rant aimed at those within the MAGA movement voicing their hatred of Jewish people.

Podcaster Bongino, who served as Kash Patel's deputy from March 2025 to January 2026, fumed at those of his allies voicing their dislike of Jewish people in a post to X.

A three-time Donald Trump voter's declaration that the president's current term "just absolutely sucks" sent former Trump FBI official Dan Bongino into a tailspin over the weekend.

It started when self-identified "American nationalist" Evan Kilgore took to X to ask his 187,000 followers, "Who else feels like the second Trump Administration just absolutely sucks??"

The MAGA influencer added, "I say this as a 3 time Trump voter."...

Bongino made headlines when the administration announced noted child sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein had killed himself and didn't lead a criminal ring of pedophiles, despite the fact that Bongino was helping lead the FBI and had personally promoted conspiracy theories about Epstein. Recently, he announced his departure from the law enforcement agency.

On Saturday, Bongino took to X, where he attacked fellow conservatives, writing, "Genuinely comical watching bad comedians and black-pillers flex, and then go live, and no one shows up."...

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino officially left the agency he helped lead for just under a year, the FBI stated Sunday morning according to CBS reporter Scott MacFarlane.

Bongino’s stint at the FBI had been fraught with controversy, particularly after the agency had attempted to shut down all further investigation into Jeffrey Epstein last summer and concluded that no evidence existed to charge potential co-conspirators.

As a podcaster, Bongino had aggressively promoted theories around Epstein, saying as recently as February that, regarding Epstein, he was “not ever gonna let this story go.” Those remarks came back to haunt Bongino after he signed off on a memo that concluded Epstein did not maintain a client list, and that he did, in fact, die by suicide....

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino isn't planning on returning to work for the rest of the month and reportedly plans to make his departure formal in the coming weeks.

The former Secret Service agent-turned-right-wing podcaster has quietly told confidants he will formally leave his post at the start of the new year and doesn't intend to return to headquarters for work, eight sources briefed on the matter told MS NOW.

"Bongino told his team and some senior FBI officials that he tentatively planned to announce his departure on Dec. 19, according to four people," the network reported. "Several people said some of Bongino’s personal effects have been cleared out of his office as of last week."...
