Trump's 'really concerning' dementia symptoms revealed in late-night posts: expert

President Donald Trump's dementia symptoms are showing in his late-night Truth Social postings and public appearances, a physical therapist who specializes in geriatric care warned Sunday.

According to an interview with Adam James, a licensed physical therapist, Trump's late-night posts are signs of "sundowning," a symptom of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) defined by evening agitation.

"As you approach the evening hours around dinner time, the sun goes down, a dementia patient becomes more agitated, more paranoid, and more difficult to deal with in general," James, who specializes in working with geriatric patients, said. "We're seeing that with the president right now. He posts, I mean, 50, 60, 100 times on Truth Social; the most random, unhinged slop, AI-generated videos."...

RFK Jr. adviser warns Trump 'likely shortening his lifespan' with medical treatment

RFK Jr. adviser warns Trump 'likely shortening his lifespan' with medical treatment

A top aide to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared a theory about what he thinks is causing President Donald Trump's alleged "dementia" and swollen cankles — and how his current medical treatment could be "likely shortening his lifespan."

Dr. Aseem Malhotra, an advisor for the Make America Healthy Again movement and now chief medical and scientific adviser for the Make Europe Healthy Again organization, apparently shared his concerns about Trump's health with the administration as he moved to his new role, The Daily Beast reported Tuesday.

Malhotra is expected to speak at the European Parliament on Wednesday and tell the group "that he believes Trump’s health issues stem from his use of cholesterol-lowering medication called statins, and aspirin," according to The Beast....

GOP told to promise it'll rid nation of Trump at first 'creeping senility' sign

GOP told to promise it'll rid nation of Trump at first 'creeping senility' sign

Washington Post columnist Megan McArdle wants assurances that the GOP will do to Trump what it insists Democrats should have done to Biden -- remove him from office when he shows signs of cognitive decline.

In a new opinion piece, McArdle argued that "a good deal of what [Trump] says is nonsense. But it’s mostly the same kind of nonsense he’s been spewing for years. That said, it’s reasonable to worry about Trump’s cognitive capacity."

As Trump ages, the odds of "creeping senility" will increase, McArdle wrote, and it will be up to Republicans to do something about it, not cover it up like the Democrats are accused of doing with Biden....

'Dementia-land': Lawmaker says Trump is 'not suited for office' after 'bonkers' claim

Donald Trump is "not suited for office" after spreading a conspiracy theory about Vice President Kamala Harris faking her crowd sizes, according to Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA).

Lieu appeared on MSNBC on Sunday to talk about the Harris campaign and how it is shaping up against Trump. The host asked him if reliably red territories are really going to be competitive for Harris in November.

"Does the campaign really believe that those states can really actually be won?" she asked....

'His brains are pudding': Internet mocks Trump for 'incoherent' defense of 'rambling' rant

Donald Trump on Saturday sought to push back against reports that he was "rambling" when he told a story about sharks and electrocution at a recent rally, leading some onlookers to say his attempt to defend his remarks was worse than the original telling itself.

Trump earlier in June ranted at a rally about batteries and shark attacks, leading the internet to question the ex-president's mental capacity. The former president was speaking in Las Vegas, when he at one point veered off into a discussion about shark attacks while apparently discussing President Joe Biden's environmental priorities related to electric vehicles.

Trump was ridiculed for those remarks, causing him to bring them up again while giving the keynote address for the Faith and Freedom Coalition's "Road to Majority" in Washington, D.C. ...

'It's not normal': Psychologists say Trump keeps proving his 'dementia' is getting worse

'It's not normal': Psychologists say Trump keeps proving his 'dementia' is getting worse

During a rally in Wildwood, New Jersey on May 11, former President Donald Trump praised fictional serial-killing cannibal Hannibal Lecter and confused President Jimmy Carter for tennis great Jimmy Connors.

All of these moments and more are explored in the podcast "Shrinking Trump," which is hosted by a doctor duo, psychologists Dr. John Gartner and Dr. Harry Segal, who examine the head of the 45th president and discuss his purported mental decline.

"'Silence of the Lambs' — has anyone ever seen a 'Silence of the Lambs?,'" Trump asked in an apparent tangent while railing against immigrants coming into the U.S. after being freed from "insane asylums."
