Dr. Oz's how-to-squat video backfires as speculation swirls about the health of his elbow

Dr. Mehmet Oz dropped a new video instructing Americans on how to do a proper squat — but instead the internet wanted to know what happened to his elbow.

In the new video posted on X, the television doctor turned Trump administration member walked around a yard and discussed the importance of exercise and how to work the quadriceps muscles with a classic squat. He's one of the latest Trump officials to release an exercise video since Trump's return to the White House.

As he dropped down into the position and told Americans to "sit back like your bottom is about to touch the toilet seat," he appeared to lose balance briefly and then stood back up. But that wasn't the only thing viewers saw....

Rumors swirl that top Trump aide is next on chopping block: analysis

President Donald Trump could be considering a replacement for Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an analyst said Friday.

Salon's White House columnist Brian Karem reported that while White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been on leave, the Trump administration has been auditioning different "guest host" Cabinet members in the press room, including Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Oz is now being rumored to be a potential replacement for Kennedy....

'Might not be the best argument': Skepticism rises after Dr. Oz defends Trump's health

Eyebrows were raised on Tuesday as Dr. Mehmet Oz responded to questions about why President Donald Trump had an increased number of medical exams, prompting skepticism surrounding the commander-in-chief's overall health.

Oz, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator, was filling in for Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt at the White House press briefing when Daily Mail reporter Elina Shirazi pushed for Oz to respond.

"This is the fourth checkup that the president has had," Shirazi said. "He's supposed to have one a year. He's had several CT heart scans. What are the doctors looking for?"...

Dr. Oz smacked with new lawsuit from meat market owner over 'mafia' fraud allegations

Dr. Mehmet Oz was hit with a lawsuit by the owner of a family-owned Armenian meat market in California after he alleged that the small business has ties to the "Russian Armenian Mafia."

Anna Ivanyan, owner of Tigranakert Meat Market in Van Nuys, said that President Donald Trump's Medicaid services administrator damaged her reputation when he featured her business in a video posted on social media and alleged her business was involved in fraud in the Armenian community, TMZ reported.

Oz shared a video of himself driving around Los Angeles in January, pointing out and claiming widespread fraud among hospice and health care locations — specifically singling out Russian and Armenian-owned spots and saying Trump wouldn't tolerate the "mostly fraudulent" businesses. ...

CNN hosts called out for softball Dr. Oz interview: 'High five?'

CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown were criticized Friday after a bizarre live interview — and high five — with Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Oz, administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, is a former television health expert made popular by his association with Oprah Winfrey and now a Trump administration official. During the CNN interview, Oz described why he believed Americans should work longer and postpone retirement, as well as gave other remarks on the state of American health care. He also talked about weight loss drugs, prices and how Brown didn't need them because she looks like a "gazelle."

It appeared throughout the conversation with Oz that Blitzer and Brown did not push back on any of his claims or comments. ...

Dr Oz belittled with crushing Hakeem Jeffries putdown as he elbows way into shutdown fight

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) referred to Dr. Mehmet Oz as a "rando" and slammed the former television doctor as the Senate moves closer to ending the government shutdown.

Jeffries was responding to a reporter's question about Affordable Care Act subsidies and Dr. Oz's comments when the Democratic lawmaker responded.

"That's like the most random way to start a question on a serious topic. Nobody who's serious in this country takes Dr. Oz seriously. No one. And I mean, it's shocking that the guy even was confirmed, but this is part of the reality of Republicans here in the House and over in the Senate. They're nothing more than a rubber stamp for Donald Trump's cruelty and extreme agenda," Jeffries said....
