Jimmy Kimmel was not about to let a jaw-dropping flub from President Donald Trump's White House UFC event slide.

During the UFC Freedom 250 broadcast on the South Lawn, an announcer mistakenly referred to Melania Trump as "First Lady Ivanka," mixing up the president's wife with his daughter Ivanka Trump. The moment came after lightweight Justin Gaethje's victory, as the fighter introduced his mother, Carolina, to the president and first lady. The clip quickly ricocheted across social media.

Kimmel seized on what the account LateNighter called the "Freudian slip" from the broadcast booth, using it to needle Trump's long-rumored fixation on his eldest daughter....

Former first daughter Ivanka Trump is no longer getting any value out of her relationship with her father, former President Donald Trump, said his niece Mary Trump on CNN Friday.

This comes after the former president was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records, in a New York felony case that centered on his efforts to silence any news of an extramarital affair he allegedly had with adult film star Stormy Daniels while his wife and former First Lady Melania was taking care of his child — a trial in which neither Melania nor Ivanka showed up to a single day of the proceedings.

"As you know, Trump's daughter, Ivanka, your cousin, posted a picture after the verdict came down saying — I'm quoting her now — 'I love you, Dad,'" said anchor Wolf Blitzer. "A source tells CNN that Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, and Melania Trump, and Barron Trump for that matter, were over at Trump Tower today, despite not attending the actual trial. "What do you make of this?"

Donald Trump desperately wanted to know if his daughter and allies were watching CNN's Anderson Cooper interview former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal as she gave her side of the story about an alleged 15-month affair.

The tale came in a passing comment from conservative lawyer George Conway, previously married to Kellyanne Conway. The story, he explains, illustrates just how worried Trump was about the news story.

McDougal was given a contract by David Pecker, a close friend of Trump's and CEO of AMI, the parent company of the National Enquirer. Meanwhile, Stormy Daniels was given a similar amount of money through a check from Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen. ...

She has her own teflon. The truth.

The former president's daughter is expected to take the stand in the Lower Manhattan courtroom as early on Friday and her dad's niece, Mary Trump, is certain that when she does, she won't hold back or try to shield her political force of a father.

"She's just going to tell the truth and throw him under the bus," Mary Trump said during a podcast episode "The Good In Us."...

Former President Donald Trump's children are likely to try to separate their own behavior from that of each other in a desperate bid to limit their liability in the New York civil fraud case over the Trump adminstration's false property valuations, argued former prosecutor Charles Coleman on MSNBC Wednesday evening.

This comes after a day of testimony from Donald Trump Jr., who claimed he didn't know anything about the valuation documents tied to him and it was all low-level accountants doing the work.

"How would you be advising?" asked anchor Chris Hayes. "… you're not read into the full details because you're not their lawyer, but, like, it does seem a conundrum about how all the kids testified."...

The Don calls the shots and his kids do his bidding.

That's the read on the family dynasty's makeup painted by Trump biographer Tim O'Brien in an appearance with Nicolle Wallace on MSNBC.

Asked about what Don Jr.'s role is in the Trump Organization, O'Brien didn't hold back describing him as having "never been a particularly bright bulb." ...
