The lawyer who leaked the video evidence of Trump RICO election interference case co-defendant Jenna Ellis has been let go by his client.

Misty Hampton, who is one of the 19 charged in a conspiracy to reverse the election results in Georgia to favor Trump, did away with her attorney, Jonathan Miller III, according to The Guardian's Hugo Lowell, citing a source.

"Hampton decided she wanted someone else as her lawyer in the Fulton County case," according to his tweet. ...

A Donald Trump ally who is frequently cited by the former president has an interesting new conspiracy theory: Nikki Haley can control the weather.

Laura Loomer, who supports Trump and has even been floated by Donald Trump Jr. as a potential interim press secretary should his father get a second chance at the White House, posted about her theory on social media.

"Is the Deep State activating HAARP to disrupt the Iowa Caucus?" Loomer asked, citing the short-hand for the subject of weather-controlling conspiracy theories. "We all know [Haley] has a lot of friends in the defense industry and Military industrial complex."...

Jenna Ellis, the Donald Trump attorney who tearfully pleaded guilty to 2020 election interference crimes, has been feuding on social media with Jeff Clark, an ex-Trump official and a fellow Trump co-defendant.

It appears to have started with a post by Ellis, who recently condemned Christian nationalism following the beheading of a Satanic statute by a former candidate. On Thursday, Ellis posted again about the statue, writing, "A Missouri politician vandalized a Satanist statue in the Iowa Capitol."

"Some say it's righteous civil disobedience," she wrote Thursday. "Does God require Christians to destroy monuments to false gods?"...

Like fellow co-defendants Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell, attorney Jenna Ellis is avoiding state prison by agreeing to a plea deal in Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis' RICO/election interference case against former President Donald Trump.

But for these lawyers, there may be non-criminal repercussions to admitting that they lied when they promoted Trump's false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.

Powell, for example, has been battling a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems. And Ellis, according to Law & Crime reporter Marisa Sarnoff, is a candidate for possible disbarment....

Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case could be tossed if his lawyers’ newest tactic succeeds, court records show.

The former president’s legal team Monday filed a motion to dismiss Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ case, arguing Trump’s post-2020 election actions were protected by the First Amendment right to free speech.

"Every single alleged overt act listed and count charged against President Trump seeks to criminalize content-based, core political speech,” the lawyers wrote in Monday’s filing....

Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis is a Republican Christian, but she wants you to know she's not a Christian nationalist.

Ellis, who already pleaded guilty for her role in the Georgia election subversion scheme for which the former president is also fighting serious criminal charges, on Friday responded to a post by Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk. Kirk, who is battling allegations of antisemitism at his political conference, stated that a "Christian veteran just beheaded a monument to Satan in Iowa’s state Capitol."
