And a real musical artist even showed up on the convention floor — rapper Lil Jon strutted among delegates changing the words of his hit song “Get Low” to support Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, doing so as the Georgia ceremonial roll call was announced....

OK. It's time to judge the end product. It's been 25 years since the first group of artists got together to sing We Are the World. Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are at the helm again, with this another group of artists, this time for the victims of the earthquake. Performers include Celine Dion, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx, Lady Gaga, Jeff Bridges, Rob Thomas, Jason Mraz, Wyclef Jean, Justin Bieber, Pink, Adam Levine, Jonas Brothers, Sugarland, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Vince Vaughn, Kid Cudi, Drake, LL Cool J, Will.I.Am, Mos Def and Julianne Hough. Notably, original footage and vocals of Michael Jackson (and bizarre footage of Janet) is inserted.
