The Anti-Defamation League chief spoke out Saturday against Greg Bovino, formally the face of Border Patrol and President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown before his demotion earlier this week, after he was exposed for making “disparaging remarks” to a Trump-nominated prosecutor over their Jewish faith.

Bovino spoke by phone on Jan. 12 with U.S. Attorney Daniel N. Rosen, an Orthodox Jew, and lawyers from Rosen’s office about what Bovino alleged was their lack of cooperation with Border Patrol’s immigration enforcement efforts in Minneapolis. During the call, according to several anonymous sources who spoke with the Times, Bovino lashed out at Rosen by making “derisive remarks” about his Jewish faith.

That didn't sit well with ADL Chief Jonathan Greenblatt. He took to social media to condemn the comments....

Jewish Insider caught Rep. Scott Perry's (R-PA) campaign Facebook page sharing an antisemitic meme about Jewish bankers. When they called for comment, the post quickly disappeared, The Inquirer reported Wednesday.

The reports reveal that the meme depicted a banker with a thick beard, which is generally associated with Jewish Orthodox men. It also had a game board with green dollar bills over it.

“If the people stand … the game is over,” said the caption above the image.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) ranted to a group of Jewish witnesses about globalism and billionaire George Soros on Wednesday.

At a House Judiciary Committee hearing about free speech and anti-Semitism, Van Drew used his time to insist he could criticize Soros without being a racist.

"I am pro-Israel," Van Drew began. "Yet, I still believe that we shouldn't use these words to try to say, well, if you believe that George Soros is involved in our local elections, because he is, if you believe that he is funding prosecutors and local officials that have a different vision for America than most Americans do, he is, that doesn't make me racist." ...

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Sunday posted a Yom Kippur message that included an image of a Hanukkah menorah. She ultimately deleted the image, but legal experts, conservative operatives, and onlookers felt that was not quite enough.

Greene, known for promoting QAnon's conspiracy theories and claiming that "Jewish space lasers" were responsible for wildfires in California, was already in hot water after an offensive comment she made Friday on President Joe Biden's social media post.
