Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) faced a "chorus of boos" and was shouted down by a rowdy state fair crowd in his own state.

On Saturday, Marshall attended a debate against his Democratic opponent, Adam Hamilton, during the Kansas State Fair. However, the crowd kept giving him the business.

As the debate started, the crowd began chanting "No more Trump!" alongside "scattered cries of 'U-S-A,'" reported local journalist Derek Zimmerman-Guyer in a post on X. When Marshall was introduced, the crowd erupted into a loud wave of boos....

Republican Sen. Roger Marshall refiled his official home address Friday after Politico caught him listing a house he had already sold.

Politico's Daniel Lippman reported that Marshall relisted a cabin in the western Kansas town of St. John as his residence. The refiling followed questions Lippman raised about an earlier candidate statement that listed a home Marshall sold in 2021. Marshall's spokesperson called the earlier listing a clerical error.

The correction sharpens a long-running question about whether Marshall truly lives in Kansas or closer to his family in Florida. Voter records show Marshall's brother also lists the same cabin address as his residence, according to Lippman. Marshall is now selling the Florida house that first drew that scrutiny.

President Donald Trump is seeing a key group among his core voters turn against him and the MAGA movement, according to a report.

A piece published by The Contrarian on Friday focused on how religious and Christian voters are souring on Trump and how pastors are entering red state races to beat GOP and MAGA candidates.

"White Christian Nationalists who form the backbone of the MAGA movement are outraged that a pro-choice, professed progressive Christian would challenge their claim to theocratic dominance," wrote Jennifer Rubin, referring to Rev. Adam Hamilton, the Democratic Senate nominee running in Kansas....

A MAGA candidate running with President Donald Trump's endorsement has been living a life of luxury outside the state where he's running, per The Daily Beast.

The Republican nominee for governor in Iowa, Zach Lahn, has been living in a multimillion-dollar mansion in Kansas despite presenting himself to voters as a farmer, according to reporting by The Daily Beast. Lahn is running on a platform aligned with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Make America Healthy Again movement and also has the endorsement of Turning Point Action, the conservative group founded by Charlie Kirk.

An investigation by The Daily Beast found that his Kansas mansion is worth about $2 million. His wife, Annie Lahn, is the ex-daughter-in-law of billionaire Republican donor Charles Koch. Lahn and his wife bought the property in 2024 and transferred it to an LLC, according to The Daily Beast, which noted that the move is likely meant to hide Lahn's ownership....

Ben Palen — a Kansas native and a fifth-generation farmer and agriculture consultant — blasted President Donald Trump’s repeated tactic of putting farmers in distress and then dangling tax-funded salvation before them and hungry developers.

“[T]he Trump administration will provide several billion dollars in bailouts to farmers, with an emphasis on corn and soybean growers,” Palen wrote in the Kansas Reflector. “... Predictably, political dances followed the announcement, with various farm groups issuing statements supporting release of this money.”

“It’s pathetic,” Palen wrote. “It’s especially so when the Republican sycophants who represent Kansas farmers fall all over themselves to pay homage to Trump. How about some honest conversations about what this regime has done to American farmers via a patchwork of actions that show little understanding of international trade and so many other issues?”...

Gaetz is alleged to have regularly paid women for engaging in sexual activity; that he reportedly engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl in 2017; that during the period 2017 to 2019, Gaetz allegedly used or possessed illegal drugs including cocaine and ecstasy and that he accepted gifts — including transportation and lodging in connection with a 2018 trip to the Bahamas — in excess of permissible amounts....
