The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., for a period of 13 years, was one of the most scrutinized and filmed figures in American history, from the Montgomery bus boycott in 1955 to his assassination in Memphis in 1968. But it wasn't just the press watching him. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, which J. Edgar Hoover led, took a keen interest in King as he became the de facto leader of the civil rights movement. As King became ever bigger, Hoover's obsession grew as well. As documented in a new film, "MLK/FBI," out Friday in theaters and on video on demand, Hoover expended untold amounts of money a......

PHILADELPHIA – Doctors, nurses, and staff at private practices and clinics across Pennsylvania have been left guessing when they would get access to a COVID-19 vaccine, even as they regularly interact with patients infected with the coronavirus. Even physicians who are “on staff” with a hospital system — not on the facility’s payroll but able to access services and equipment for their patients — have largely been left out as those institutions have had free rein to determine which of their employees can have access to limited vaccine doses. “They just kind of started doing their people without......

Portions of the actor’s ashes had previously been launched into space of......

But to be honest, I also smoke because I enjoy it.” Alleviating his physical and mental pain is difficult when he feels another sting: His doctor-recommended medicine is not covered by insurance. He pays out of pocket — as much as $120 a week. “It’s way too expensive,” Cobb said. “It’s ridiculous.” Other marijuana users in Pennsylvania agree. Surveys s......
