President Donald Trump was reportedly infuriated Friday after the Supreme Court ruled that his tariffs were illegal.

Trump was hosting the National Governor's Association breakfast with a room full of the nation's governors at the White House when he found out about the high court's decision to strike down Trump's tariffs in a 6-3 vote.

"Apparently the gov breakfast had been going well, they were working together, and then President Trump became enraged. He started ranting about the decision, not only calling it a disgrace, but started attacking the courts at one point saying, these 'f------ courts,'" said CNN senior White House correspondent Kristen Holmes. ...

President Donald Trump lashed out a Republican governor Thursday — reviving an old beef and continuing a battle over an upcoming governors’ event at the White House.

Trump spent Wednesday and Thursday lashing out at Oklahoma Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt after Stitt told the National Governors Association members that it would no longer plan on a formal meeting with Trump during its bipartisan governor's weekend in Washington, D.C., Politico reported. Stitt is the chair of the organization and made statement following the White House decision that certain Democrats wouldn't be invited at the business meeting slated for Feb. 20, which has historically been bipartisan.

A deep red state governor slammed Texas for sending National Guard troops to Chicago, saying "Oklahomans would lose their mind" if Illinois were to do the same to his state.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, chair of the National Governors Association, said the move is overstepping state rights in a New York Times interview on Thursday. His comments "marked the first time a Republican governor has questioned the interstate deployment of National Guard troops over a governor’s objections."

“We believe in the federalist system — that’s states’ rights,” he told The Times, “Oklahomans would lose their mind if Pritzker in Illinois sent troops down to Oklahoma during the Biden administration.”...
