Suspicious details of Trump's secret plane swap revealed by Air Force One photographer

A New York Times photographer on Wednesday revealed several suspicious new details in President Donald Trump's plane swap amid a threat.

Douglas Mills, a photojournalist who was on Air Force One with the press corps as the group headed back from Turkey after a NATO summit in July with Trump and several administration officials, told CNN's Erin Burnett the incident was "alarming" after learning Trump had left the plane in a catering truck.

Burnett mentioned that Mills and other reporters were asked to lower their window shades. And in an interview with reporters after that flight, Trump had commented specifically on window shades....

'It's actually seditious': Trump unloads on NYT and CNN over unflattering reporting

President Donald Trump took a jab at The New York Times and CNN during a press conference at the White House on Thursday.

The president had a meltdown over some of the important reporting around the Iran war and his administration when he pointed to The Times, a news organization Trump has had a contentious relationship throughout his political career. He has frequently attacked the newspaper on social media, called it "fake news" and referred to the publication as an "enemy of the American people."

"And yet in I read in The New York Times, I see it on the stupid CNN, which I only watch because you have to watch a little bit of the enemy, so I watch it for a very short period," Trump said. ...

Pentagon bans photographers for ‘unflattering’ photos of Pete Hegseth: report

The Pentagon apparently shut out photographers from attending press briefings on the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war in Iran after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's staff decided recent photos of him were "unflattering," The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

The images from the March 2 briefing came after Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed during a joint military strike on Feb. 28. It was the first time Hegseth had appeared in the briefing room and spoken to press since June 26.

The Associated Press, Reuters and Getty Images were among the media groups that sent photographers to the briefing with Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff....

Karoline Leavitt unleashes on CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins to her face: 'Especially you!'

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt directly attacked CNN's Kaitlan Collins on Wednesday during the first press briefing since the United States and its ally Israel launched military strikes against Iran.

Leavitt had made several comments criticizing media coverage of the Trump administration and went after reporters at the White House, specifically Collins and CNN.

The Trump administration has presented several different objectives since launching its military operation five days ago — with Cabinet members and even President Donald Trump giving conflicting information over what prompted the attacks and led to the regional conflict that has now left six American troops dead. ...

Hegseth gets testy with 'nitpicking' reporters: 'What you in the press don't understand'

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth lost his cool during a White House cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Hegseth was taking questions from the press when he fired off a defensive response over the Sept. 2 lethal strikes on a boat in the Caribbean, off the coast of Venezuela, where survivors were reportedly targeted following the first attack.

A reporter asked if Hegseth saw any survivors before the second strike. ...
