A GOP senator accidentally called President Donald Trump's biggest success the "scandal of my lifetime" with his comments on Fox News.

Sen. Ron Johnson spoke with Fox News on Wednesday about COVID vaccinations in light of the recent testimony by Anthony Fauci. He told anchor Laura Ingraham that "these injections cause death" and that the COVID vaccine is the "great government scandal of my lifetime."

However, online critics noted that Trump boasted in the past that his first administration rolled out the COVID vaccines and that Johnson's comments amounted to calling Trump's success a scandal....

WASHINGTON — Democrats have continued to push back on the SAVE Act while Republicans were pushing for what President Donald Trump has called the number one GOP priority, and now the Senate plans to continue debating the controversial bill all weekend.

If passed into law, the Republican-backed legislation would require U.S. citizens to provide voter ID at the ballot box, and mail-in votes would be massively hindered. But some lawmakers have expressed concern that this could ultimately backfire on Republicans, especially ahead of the midterms and 2028 presidential election.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson need to back off — or so argue many Senate Republicans set on overhauling the House-passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which would turn much of Trump's campaign rhetoric into law.

After the measure squeaked out of the House by a single vote ahead of the Memorial Day recess, GOP leaders and the president are pressuring Senate Republicans to pass the bill, complete with tax and spending cuts, by July 4.
