Top White House aide Sebastian Gorka sparked online ire and mockery after he wagged his finger at a Newsmax anchor for using the word "AI."

Gorka, the deputy assistant to the president and senior director for counterterrorism at the National Security Council, appeared on Newsmax on Thursday. During an interview, anchor Ed Henry wanted to talk about guardrails for AI when Gorka interrupted him.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no," Gorka said, wagging his finger at Henry. "It's SI. As of this week, it's Super Intelligence."...

Advocates for civil and constitutional rights were sounding the alarm on a Trump official's plan to combat groups deemed far-left extremists by the administration.

"A lot of people are very shocked by the language about left-wing extremists, anarchist extremists," said Chip Gibbons, the policy director at Defending Rights & Dissent, in a Saturday article by the Guardian.

Gibbons was reacting to a memo by President Donald Trump's counter-terrorism czar, Sebastian Gorka, that called for labeling millions of Americans as terrorists, including groups that identify as left-wing, anti-Fascist and Anarchist. ...

Donald Trump's senior director for counterterrorism was just caught "partying" on the job, according to one of the president's allies.

MAGA influencer Laura Loomer, who is known to have to ear of the president and has been called the Trump Whisperer, took to social media over the weekend to condemn Sebastian Gorka, who also serves as a deputy assistant to the president. Specifically, Loomer focused the official reportedly attending the grand opening for the US Embassy of Qatar in DC.

"I have watched the video posted by the [Qatar US embassy] for their grand opening, and this looks exactly like Gorka and his wife. Care to comment, Sebastian?" she wrote Saturday. "Gorka is the Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism. Why is the Senior Director for Counterterrorism attending parties in DC with the Qataris, the funders of the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS?"...

CNN host Brianna Keilar called out Sebastian Gorka, a counterterrorism aide to President Donald Trump, for inaccurate claims about mass shootings.

On Sunday, Keilar confronted Gorka after he claimed there was an "ideological connection" between incidents with transgender mass shooters, including the recent tragedy at a Catholic church in Minnesota.

"You know, 96% of attackers, when you're looking at the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center, looking at 172 mass attacks in the U.S. between 2016 and 2020, 96% were non-trans men," Keilar noted. "So I know you're focusing on this shooter being trans. The shooter was trans, and that is certainly of note. But are you missing the bigger picture here when you zero in on that instead of more broadly these school shooters as an epidemic, and you perhaps miss the through line that connects them all?"...

Senior Trump aide Sebastian Gorka threw a fit when asked by a BBC reporter about the president accepting a massively expensive gift from the Qatari royal family, according to a report in HuffPost.

Gorka, who serves as President Donald Trump’s senior director for counterterrorism, appeared on Radio 4′s World At One program.

Host Sarah Montague asked, “The Qataris are giving a jet worth $400 million. The U.S. Constitution has provisions that no elected official should accept any present from the leader of a foreign state without congressional approval. Is there a problem with this, because it doesn’t look like it’s draining the swamp?” ...

Sebastian Gorka felt MAGA’s wrath Tuesday evening after he lambasted fellow conservative pundit Tucker Carlson for promoting an interview with Vladimir Putin.

Former President Donald Trump’s one-time aide found himself embroiled in a dramatic social media showdown with Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec after he levied accusations against Carlson on X.

“I remember when Americans didn’t do PR for the KGB,” wrote Gorka. “Well, without being agents of the Kremlin.” ...
