Marco Rubio ripped after boast undone by Trump himself: 'You sure about that?'

Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement about American citizenship quickly backfired as online critics pointed out how his boss proved him wrong.

In a Wednesday post on X, Rubio slammed what he called "Birth Tourism," which is often brought up in MAGA circles, and pushed President Donald Trump's talking point about immigrants coming to the United States to have babies.

"American citizenship is not for sale," Rubio wrote. "But elaborate birth tourism rings are profiting off the exploitation of America's laws -coaching foreigners to defraud the U.S. visa system, arranging travel and housing, and even forging documents, all to enable foreign nationals to obtain citizenship for their children."...

Trump brutally mocked on CNN over bizarre Gold Card sales claim: 'Guy might be dishonest'

A couple of political pundits broke into laughter when they heard President Donald Trump claim that he sold $1.3 billion worth of gold cards, his program to let people into the country for a fee of $1 million.

'All that glitters is not gold': Trump's shiny new scheme brutally mocked

President Donald Trump's latest scheme got a brutal mocking on social media after months of imposing harsh regulations on visas, a looming social media policy for tourists, and anti-immigrant remarks.

Trump on Wednesday revealed that his "Trump Gold Card," which allows wealthy foreigners to effectively purchase residency in the United States for $1 million — with a $15 million DHS processing fee — was now available on the government's website. The policy is intended to replace the existing EB-5 immigrant investor visa program, which allows foreign entrepreneurs to apply for a U.S. work permit if they either invest $800,000 in the U.S. economy or create at least 10 U.S. jobs. The upcoming platinum card is slated to cost $5 million.
