A MAGA influencer distanced himself from the idea of another photo op celebrating the Trump administration's release of classified info after he was embarrassed and disappointed with the Epstein files.

"Happy to report that I will not be helping release the UFO files," MAGA influencer and pro-Trump lawyer Rogan O'Handley, also known as DC Draino, wrote on X on Wednesday. O'Handley was responding to a report stating that FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed "UFO files" had been delivered for release.

O'Handley and other MAGA influencers were invited to the White House in February 2025, where they were pictured with binders in hand that had "Epstein Files: Phase 1" written on the front, according to the Independent. FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday that the Trump administration would soon release its UFO and alien-life files.

Patel, who has been facing rumors over questions about his job security, defended President Donald Trump on Hannity's Fox podcast "Hang Out With Sean Hannity" and claimed that the Trump administration was diverting its attention to extraterrestrial life, The Daily Beast reported. He explained the move was "another example" of the president's decision to deliver on his promises all while the administration has faced growing scrutiny around the affordability crisis and Iran war.

Kacey Musgraves said she saw alleged UFOs following her plane during a flight, TMZ reported on Friday.

The singer and songwriter described on Instagram stories how she saw light orbs that "just didn't look normal" during her trip from Fort Worth, Texas, to Nashville, Tennessee, with her manager Bobby. She also said the pilots on the flight confirmed seeing the suspicious lights — and not just on this flight but "every single night."

She detailed seeing the lights from around 50,000 feet in the sky and how they were "not moving like any craft that we can control," forming triangle patterns that were "extremely bright" and moving around. ...

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) told Raw Story that aliens may have come to the Earth 1,000 years ago or more and could have been living in the deep ocean.

Walking on Capitol Hill Wednesday night, Burchett mused, "What if these are entities that are on this Earth that have been on this Earth — who knows how long, and that we, we, think that they're coming in from way out. Maybe they did a millennium ago, but they're here in these deep-water areas and that's why — I mean, like we say, we know more about space than we do what's going on there."

A Harvard astronomer explained why an unidentified object detected this summer could potentially be an alien spacecraft.

Avi Loeb, the chair of the university's astronomy department, appeared Thursday on "CNN This Morning" to discuss speculation about the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object, which was first spotted on July 1 by the Deep Random Survey remote telescope in Chile.

"The brightness of the object implies a diameter of 20 km, and there is not enough rocky material, and there is not enough rocky material in interstellar space to deliver such a giant object per decade," Loeb said. "It takes 10,000 years for that much mass to arrive to the inner part of the solar system. Moreover, the trajectory of this object is very fine tuned. It lies in the plane of the orbits of the planets around the sun to within five degrees. The chance for that to happen is one in 500, and moreover, it passes very close to Jupiter, Mars and Venus with a chance of one per 20,000 if you just change the arrival time randomly, and it will arrive closest to the sun when the earth would be on the opposite side. We won't be able to observe it, but that's the perfect time for it to maneuver, and so we just need to watch it."...
