Vivek Ramaswamy has been accused of being Donald Trump's plant in the 2024 GOP presidential race, but things have changed.

Trump has previously praised Ramaswamy, largely because the entrepreneur has consistently said positive things about the former president. Ramaswamy even went as far as to say he would drop himself from a state's ballot if that state didn't reinstate Trump.

But on Saturday, something apparently shifted for the ex-president. He took to his social media network, Truth Social, to warn his supporters not to trust Ramaswamy....

The 2024 Republican presidential primary field may be dwindling even further, with one of the remaining few candidates possibly planning to exit the race in the coming weeks.

On Tuesday, NBC News reported entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy has cancelled all remaining television ad spending campaigns in Iowa and New Hampshire, and has so far not bought any new TV spots as the Iowa Republican Caucuses approach on January 15. His campaign insists that the cancellation of TV ads is simply the campaign adapting to a strategy of a "hypertargeted" approach to advertising.

"We are focused on bringing out the voters we’ve identified — best way to reach them is using addressable advertising, mail, text, live calls and doors to communicate with our voters on Vivek’s vision for America, making their plan to caucus and turning them out," Ramaswamy campaign press secretary Tricia McLaughlin told NBC News....

Former President Donald Trump was disqualified from the Colorado Republican primary ballot on Tuesday after the state Supreme Court ruled against him, almost certainly setting up a fight at the U.S. Supreme Court.

And one of his rivals is vowing to boycott the Colorado primary if this ruling holds.

"I pledge to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley to do the same immediately," said businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, according to Sharyl Attkisson on X....

Donald Trump is still the preferred candidate of Russia and its longtime leader Vladimir Putin, but there is another member of the GOP's 2024 field who is gaining ground, according to a news report Saturday.

The former president is still considered the best option for Russia, but some Russians have also turned their attention toward entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, according to the Daily Beast's new reporting.

"During his Saturday show on channel Solovyov Live, Yevgeny Satanovsky continued the same train of thought, lionizing Trump alongside some of the most prominent historic figures: 'He is like Nelson Mandela, like Martin Luther King Jr., he is being persecuted by an evil shadow government!' Satanovsky feverishly claimed that Trump might be assassinated, like Abraham Lincoln or John F. Kennedy."...
