Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) launched a scathing attack on Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche during an MS NOW appearance, calling him a "monster" and demanding legal consequences for his involvement in concealing Epstein files.
In conversation with anchor Alicia Menendez, Ansari argued Blanche and Vice President JD Vance should face criminal investigations, describing the situation as "The biggest cover-up in American history."
She highlighted how Vance held a White House Situation Room meeting, historically reserved for national security matters, regarding the files.
Ansari also criticized Blanche for meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's former partner, for nine hours while refusing to meet Epstein survivors, failing to release complete files, and "doxxing" victims by releasing their personal information.
"I don't trust Todd Blanche at all," Ansari said.
"He is Donald Trump's attorney. He technically is his former personal defense attorney. But yesterday, as we heard in the confirmation hearing, he still called himself Donald Trump's lawyer. And they will do everything that they can to cover this up."
Ansari concluded, "He's a monster. And Todd Blanche should go to jail — he belongs in jail."
"He should absolutely not be confirmed as the attorney general of the United States of America."
