An order from U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon that a report from special counsel Jack Smith about his investigation of Donald Trump should be kept under wraps may not be as ironclad as she asserted on Monday.

Cannon, the controversial Trump-appointed judge, has been accused of running interference for the president and some of his close associates after they were accused of hoarding stolen government documents at Mar-a-Lago, with boxes discovered sitting in a ballroom and in a barely used bathroom.

Secret Epstein lockers could hold stash of files that have never been seen: report

Late financier and convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein reportedly had six secret lockers that have never been searched, according to reports Monday.

A report from The Telegraph found that Epstein apparently paid private investigators to remove computers and photographs from his Florida home, including computers from his private island in the Caribbean, and hide the items in an attempt to obstruct investigators. Credit card payments for the storage units continued through 2019, the year he died while awaiting trial on federal charges related to his exploitation of underage girls.

'Unpredictable' Trump's 'impossible' Iran dream is threatening a bloodbath: expert

Donald Trump's long-term plan for Iran may not be as achievable as the president wants it to be, according to a political analyst.

Professor Anthony Glees believes the Trump administration is looking to topple the Iranian government and bring about a friendlier relationship between Iran and the US as a result. This would be a tall order for the president's team, though, as Glees notes that finding a suitable replacement for ayatollah Ali Khamenei after the military action would be hard.

Alarm as 'unknown' company with deep Trump links in running for $25B government deal

An 'unknown' nuclear industry company with ties to Trump donors — that has never completed a nuclear energy project — has been under consideration for a $25 billion contract in a trade deal orchestrated between President Donald Trump and Japan, Politico reported Monday.

It's "a prospect that’s raising red flags among some U.S. investors" as the three-year-old company Entra1 Energy — with apparently less than five employees and a headquarters at a Houston WeWork — could be a finalist to develop new energy infrastructure with some of the $550 billion Japan's government promised to steer clear of Trump's tariffs, Politico reported.

Supreme Court ruling won't stop Trump's 'evangelical' belief in tariff plan: analyst

Donald Trump may press on with his tariff policy irrespective of the Supreme Court's ruling, a political analyst has warned.

The president has made it clear he believes he has a right to carry out the economic policies of his administration, even after a 6-3 ruling against him. Following the court's ruling on February 20, Trump must now seek Congressional approval to raise and lower tariffs.

Trump advisors manipulating president by ‘playing’ on fears he’s inferior to Obama: report

As President Donald Trump appears poised to “pull the trigger” on launching a full-scale war with Iran at any moment, some of his top officials have been working behind the scenes to push the president into launching an attack by drawing comparisons to former President Barack Obama, Zeteo reported Monday.

The Trump administration has mobilized a colossal military force near Iran, the largest since the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, all in the hopes of pressuring its leaders into making a deal on reducing its weapon capabilities. According to Vice President JD Vance, however, peace talks have reached an impasse over Iranian leadership’s refusal to "acknowledge" some of Trump’s “red lines.”

Trump issues new threat to countries that abide by 'ridiculous Supreme Court' ruling

President Donald Trump issued a warning to "any country" that tried to use the Supreme Court's recent decision to buck his tariffs.

"Any Country that wants to 'play games' with the ridiculous supreme court [sic] decision, especially those that have 'Ripped Off' the U.S.A. for years, and even decades, will be met with a much higher Tariff, and worse, than that which they just recently agreed to," Trump wrote Monday morning on Truth Social.
