'Can't fit it in my brain': MAGA hosts implode as Trump calls them 'bad people'

Hosts of the pro-MAGA Real America's Voice network struggled to cope after President Donald Trump said people seeking the truth about Jeffrey Epstein were "bad people."

In remarks on Tuesday, the president insisted "only pretty bad people" were still interested in learning more about the accused sex trafficker.

'Weaklings!' Trump slams 'past supporters' as he goes on major tear over Epstein

Pressure and criticism over how his administration is handling the Jeffrey Epstein files led Donald Trump to go on a major tear on Truth Social on Wednesday morning -- mainly directing his rage at Republicans.

After trying to dismiss the MAGA revolt that has included some of his biggest boosters for not releasing the files, the president is now calling the whole affair a "hoax" in a rambling screed on his social media platform.

"The Radical Left Democrats have hit pay dirt, again! Just like with the FAKE and fully discredited Steele Dossier, the lying 51 'Intelligence' Agents, the Laptop from Hell, which the Dems swore had come from Russia (No, it came from Hunter Biden’s bathroom!), and even the Russia, Russia, Russia Scam itself, a totally fake and made up story used in order to hide Crooked Hillary Clinton’s big loss in the 2016 Presidential Election, these Scams and Hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at - It’s all they have - They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates," he wrote.

Continuing in that vein, he added, "Also, unlike Republicans, they stick together like glue. Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this 'bulls--t' hook, line, and sinker. They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years. I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax."

"Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!," he concluded.

'Waned': WaPo data shows Trump's support has peaked — and is rapidly falling

Washington Post columnist Philip Bump took a dig at President Donald Trump’s base of support Wednesday as being “relatively small” when compared to the broader electorate — and cast doubts on the staying power of the now-decade-old MAGA movement.

“By mid-March, the percentage (of Republican voters identifying as ‘MAGA Republicans’) was up to 56 percent,” Bump wrote. “But that was the high-water mark, at least to date. Both in late April and over the last month, the number of Republicans who call themselves MAGA Republicans waned.”

'Maligned': Florida Republican bucks Trump with immigrant protection law

South Florida Republican U.S. Rep. Maria Salazar introduced a bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform package on Tuesday that would provide legal status for certain undocumented immigrants.

The announcement comes as the Trump administration leans further into its mass deportation efforts, with hundreds and sometimes thousands of undocumented migrants being detained on a daily basis.

'You gotta be crazy!' Boebert returns to spotlight — and leaves onlookers aghast

A proposal by Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) to get the Jeffrey Epstein files and client list firestorm resolved as the MAGA base revolts is being greeted with laughter and incredulity.

During an appearance on "The Benny Show," the controversial Colorado Republican admitted the Epstein fight, with the Department of Justice and AG Pam Bondi caught in the middle, is tearing the party apart — and she suggested a special counsel be appointed.

'It's farcical!' Ex-FBI agent blows up outlandish Trump claim using basic facts

President Donald Trump has claimed the Jeffrey Epstein files were "made up" by his political enemies — but a former FBI official is debunking his timeline as impossible.

The president was asked whether Attorney General Pam Bondi had told him if his name was cited in the case files, and he said no, but then Trump went on to say the documents had been fabricated by Barack Obama, James Comey and Joe Biden's administration. CNN's John Berman asked former FBI special agent Mike Feinberg to unpack those claims.

'Massive anxiety': Strategist sees Republicans start to panic over Trump demands

Senate Republicans barely scraped together enough votes to move a plan forward to claw back billions in already-approved funding for foreign aid and public broadcasting, and political analysts say that's a sign of just how unpopular the measure is with voters.

Vice President JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote Tuesday to advance the rescissions package to the Senate floor, setting up another possible marathon voting session Wednesday, and Democratic strategist Maria Cardona told "CNN This Morning" the clawback demanded by President Donald Trump was politically toxic.

GOP is making Susan Collins miserable — and risks losing Senate control: report

Despite being firmly ensconced as chair of the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) is reportedly unhappy that the GOP leadership is blowing off her concerns about the recently passed massive budget bill.

According to a report from Politico's Jordain Carney, Jennifer Scholtes and Katherine Tully-McManus, Republicans are playing with fire by not taking the Maine Republican seriously — and that could cost them a seat in the Senate if she retires in frustration.

'Big lie to my face': Shock poll finds crucial Trump voting bloc abandoning him

President Donald Trump won re-election with a big boost from younger men — but many of them are apparently already regretting their choice last November.

A new CNN poll found 40 percent of men younger than 35 approve of Trump's job performance and 60 percent disapprove, down from 44 percent approval and 54 percent disapproval in February. And 65 percent of men under 35 are dissatisfied with the government's handling of the Jeffery Epstein case, while only 10 percent are satisfied with the information that's been shared.

Trump 'clearly flailing' as Epstein crisis refuses to go away: MSNBC

Based upon a press availability on Tuesday where Donald Trump expressed dismay at more questions about his administration's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, The Atlantic contributor Jonathan Lemire suggested the president has a legitimate crisis on his hands.

From his perch as a co-host on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," the longtime Capitol Hill reporter raised an eyebrow at Trump's inability to control members of his own party who want the files related to the accused pedophile released.

Noting a memo from the Department of Justice that claimed there was nothing in the files worth releasing to the public that created the MAGA firestorm that continues to grow, columnist David French told the panel, "This is a wild moment. I knew it would be a problem when I saw that memo. I knew it would be a problem for him. I did not see how much of a problem it would be, and how hard it would be for him to tamp it down."

"Very fascinating, frankly, to watch Donald Trump, the president of the United States grapple with this, a guy who was an acquaintance of Jeffrey Epstein, who once called him a terrific guy, who acknowledged, jokingly, his affinity for very young women," offered co-host Willie Geist. "Trump talking about Jeffrey Epstein frankly just looks uncomfortable when we see him there yesterday talking about this."

"And clearly flailing," Lemire interjected. "I mean, yesterday on the tarmac there at Joint Base Andrews, talking about how boring the story is, he wouldn't understand why anyone would talk about it. Mind you, it was just two days prior that, as David mentioned, Donald Trump's defense was that it was a conspiracy created by Barack Obama."

"I don't take that at face value," he added. "That's not boring if you're saying the former president of United States created this, and it just shows that they have not landed on a good defense, as you noted."

'Blatant': Analyst warns Trump is rigging 2026 — and he's not trying to hide it

President Donald Trump seems to be planning the biggest election-rigging scheme ever seen in America — and he’s not even trying to hide it, a columnist wrote Wednesday.

Trump spoke Tuesday about working with Texas’ leaders to redraw the state’s congressional boundaries — admitting he was looking for it to help the GOP pick up five seats in the midterms.

'I'm done with this': GOP senator uses profanity in veiled threat to Trump

One member of the Senate Republican Conference who has officially ruled out another term said that while he doesn't plan on sabotaging President Donald Trump's agenda, he also won't put up with "disrespectful" behavior during his last 18 months in Washington.

On Tuesday, Semafor published an interview with outgoing Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), who announced that he was not seeking a third term in the U.S. Senate after officially coming out against the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." The North Carolina Republican attributed his decision to leave the Senate to a post from Trump on his Truth Social platform attacking him. One Senate Republican anonymously told The Hill that they viewed Trump's post as "totally unnecessary."

Thom Tillis touts 'trailer park' past as outgoing senator tough talks Trump

Outgoing Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) isn't holding back anymore.

After announcing his retirement last month, Tillis plans to use his position on three pivotal congressional committees to be a thorn in the president's side, according to a new report. That could make for an interesting next 18 months as the GOP attempts to pass more of President Donald Trump's legislative priorities and confirm some of his nominees.
