MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski questioned Donald Trump's mental abilities after he gave long, rambling answers during a town hall event before abruptly ending the question-and-answer session to dance awkwardly onstage.

The 78-year-old Republican presidential nominee stopped taking questions after two audience members suffered apparent heat-related emergencies at the Oaks, Pennsylvania, venue. Instead, he requested "loud" music and danced and clapped his hands onstage as many supporters streamed out of the building.

Former President Donald Trump pushed back on confusion over a bizarre musical interlude at his town hall event in Pennsylvania Monday, posting to his Truth Social platform that everything went exactly the way he wanted it to go.

"I had a Town Hall in Pennsylvania last night. It was amazing!" wrote Trump Tuesday. "The Q and A was almost finished when people began fainting from the excitement and heat. We started playing music while we waited, and just kept it going. So different, but it ended up being a GREAT EVENING!"

Donald Trump is “obsessed” with his upcoming October 27 rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City, according to a confidant who spoke with The Bulwark on the condition of anonymity.

“[Trump] has just been obsessed with this for at least a year,” the source said, according to The Bulwark. “This is his campaign. So it’s happening.”

Trump, The Bulwark’s Marc Caputo reported, boasted to the confidant that he’s “gonna fill the Garden.”

“Headlining Madison Square Garden represents the fulfillment of a longtime dream for an outer-borough kid who always has a New York state of mind,” Caputo wrote Tuesday.

As The Bulwark notes, the rally is less an effort to pick up votes in solidly-blue New York and more “a play for the candidate’s id.” And it will cost the former president a pretty penny.

The campaign will probably shell out at least $1 million to rent Madison Square Garden, pay union labor to build the stage, and manage the event, a source familiar with the discussions said. The arena can hold nearly 20,000 people.
