A convicted January 6 attacker faces prison. So he went to Mar-a-Lago to see Trump first.

Donald Trump’s $99 digital trading cards depict him as heroic, historic and iconic.

They’re political tools and a tribute to the unquenchable vanity and hero worship that Trump displayed Monday at an exclusive Mar-a-Lago gala, devoted to the Trump trading cards, that attracted at least one man willing to attack the U.S. Capitol in Trump’s name.

How Trump’s 'fascination' with violence led to 'unhinged Republican behavior': expert

A former federal prosecutor is arguing that the recent spate of violent and aggressive behavior seen in the halls of Congress is a byproduct of former President Donald Trump's belligerent brand of politics.

Writing for The Bulwark, Dennis Aftergut — a former assistant US Attorney for the Northern District of California — made the case that journalists shouldn't be afraid to link Trump's bellicose rhetoric to Republicans' increasingly hostile demeanor. Aftergut pointed to former Speaker Kevin McCarthy's (R-CA) "sucker-elbow" of Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) in a U.S. Capitol hallway and Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) attempting to fight International Brotherhood of Teamsters president Sean O'Brien in a Senate hearing as examples.

Judge Cannon's latest ruling will almost certainly delay Mar-a-Lago trial past May: expert

Judge Aileen Cannon has ruled against the Department of Justice's attempt to set some key deadlines ahead of Donald Trump's trial.

Special counsel Jack Smith's office had requested the District Court judge set a deadline in December for Trump's legal team to disclose what classified materials they intended to use at trial, but Cannon denied their motion and instead set the deadline for March, which legal experts agreed would almost certainly delay the trial that had been scheduled to start in May.

"Why doesn’t the implosion of the A.G. of New York State’s Star Witness end this Witch Hunt," wrote Trump. "He admitted on the stand that he lied, and that I NEVER TOLD HIM, OR ANYONE ELSE, TO INFLATE THE NUMBERS. In fact, the numbers are low, or very conservative, the exact opposite of what this ridiculous RIGGED case is all about."
