'Weak!' Trump blows up at DOJ prosecutors at White House photoshoot

President Donald Trump ambushed some federal prosecutors during a recent photoshoot and called them "weak" for not prosecuting his foes quickly enough, according to a new report.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that dozens of U.S. attorneys were at the White House for a photoshoot last Thursday with Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi. During the exchange, Trump called the prosecutors "ineffective." That occurred one day before prosecutor Jeanine Pirro of the Washington, D.C. office subpoenaed Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell over comments he made to a Senate committee last summer, according to the report.

A GOP senator was roundly mocked on Tuesday after he "said the corrupt part out loud" about President Donald Trump's latest fight with the Federal Reserve.

On Sunday, the New York Times reported that the Trump administration had quietly opened an investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell over his handling of the central bank's $2.5 billion headquarters renovation project. Experts have speculated that the investigation is an attempt to push Powell out so Trump can install a loyalist who will lower interest rates at Trump's whim.

'Collateral damage?' Jake Tapper floored by Senate Republican's remark about ICE killing

CNN host Jake Tapper was taken aback by comments from a Republican senator on his program on Tuesday evening.

Marshall's support for the immigration raids was unsurprising, but one comment he made about Good seemed to catch Tapper's ear.

She added that elected officials have a duty to "stop the madness" before it's too late.
