Trump’s blatant Kennedy Center lies unmasked with release of new tax returns: report

President Donald Trump’s claim that the Kennedy Center he’s now threatening to demolish was losing “hundreds of billions” of dollars before he “got involved” was exposed Friday as a blatant lie after Zeteo obtained a copy of the center’s 2025 tax returns.

Trump’s takeover of the Kennedy Center hit a snag in June after a federal judge ordered the president’s name be removed from the iconic building. Trump’s name has since been removed from the center’s facade, though Trump and his aides have renewed efforts to return the president’s name to the building’s signage.

Rich Senate hopeful cries 'indoctrination' as critics shred 'minivan mom' persona

The Republican running to keep Sen. Joni Ernst's Iowa seat is locked in a war of words with her own former high school classmates and teachers, who are rolling their eyes at her "minivan mom" campaign persona.

A New York Times deep dive into Rep. Ashley Hinson's balancing act — winning in November while keeping President Donald Trump at arm's length — found her folksy, deal-making image clashes with her bank account. The former USC-educated TV news anchor, 43, showed up at the Iowa State Fair in a plaid purple dress last month calling herself a "minivan-driving mom" and joking that Congress was like raising teenage boys because "you spend all of your time negotiating with unreasonable people, and they have questionable hygiene."

Rage as Trump's 'bizarre' rain-tax ruling roils waters on Chesapeake Bay

Just months after federal officials joined Chesapeake Bay states in December to renew their pledge to restore the nation’s largest estuary, President Donald Trump on Wednesday rescinded an Obama-era executive order that called for federal leadership in the effort.

Trump’s executive order also railed against stormwater management fees, which he labeled “rain taxes” — a refrain from Republican Larry Hogan’s successful 2014 campaign for governor — arguing that they “impose hundreds of dollars in annual financial burdens on residents and small businesses,” with “little to no measurable benefits to the Chesapeake Bay.”

Defiant GOP official in deep red state 'under investigation' by seething DOJ: report

The Department of Justice is escalating pressure on Kentucky's Republican secretary of state, warning that he is "currently under investigation" for refusing to hand over sensitive voter registration data — one of dozens of states that received similar threatening letters earlier this month.

In a Sept. 4 letter obtained through an open records request, Eric Neff, acting chief of the DOJ's Voting Section, told Secretary of State Michael Adams that he must preserve all voting records dating back to the 2024 general election or risk "civil and criminal sanctions," reported Louisville Public Media.

President Donald Trump's ownership of a Scottish golf resort has come into question as part of a case the president lost in British court.

The company founded by former British spy Christopher Steele is pursuing the U.S. president for more than $1 million in unpaid legal fees after London's High Court threw out Trump's data protection suit against Business Intelligence two years ago, but lawyers for Trump Turnberry claim he doesn't actually own the golf report, reported the BBC.

Mystery swirls as far-right heavyweights scrubbed from school GOP hopeful founded

As Republican Zach Lahn launched his campaign for Iowa governor, the private school he founded in Kansas quietly scrubbed the names of controversial right-wing figures from its website.

The effort to paint over the influence of Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson, two men widely credited with mainstreaming white supremacist and anti-feminist ideas, took place as Lahn launched a campaign that has centered repeated attacks on what he calls a “sinister” agenda by the left to shape public education, while he vows to revoke the licenses of teachers seen as indoctrinating students.
