Child becomes sixth fatality in Waukesha parade crash: report

On Tuesday, CBS correspondent David Begnaud reported that a sixth victim has died in the aftermath of the vehicle crash at the Waukesha, Wisconsin Christmas parade — and that the victim is a child.

In addition to the fatalities, which reportedly include multiple members of the Milwaukee "Dancing Grannies" parade group, the injury toll has been expanded to over sixty, including a priest and multiple Catholic school students.

The arrested suspect, Darrell Brooks Jr., is believed by authorities to have been out on bail from another incident, and to have driven through the parade while fleeing the scene of a domestic incident involving a knife. He is appearing in court on the new charges for the first time today.
