Before real estate tycoon and reality TV star Donald Trump even had a chance to officially endorse Mitt Romney for president on Thursday, the Democratic National Convention whipped together a video that mocked the entire ordeal.

After noting that Romney ranked 47th out of 50 in job creation as governor and "bled manufacturing jobs from Massachusetts," the video asked why Trump would want to endorse him.

It's because they both like firing people, according to the video, which was released hours before Trump held his press conference.

The American Bridge 21st Century Foundation, a Democrat affiliated super PAC, released another video hours later.

The video consists of a series of clips of Romney and Trump each talking about various issues, and concluded the only difference between them is their hair.

Barack Obama's official Twitter account highlighted the endorsement as well.
