The producer and creator of FX’s popular “Sons of Anarchy” fired back at media scold and conservative activist Brent Bozell, calling him “a f*cking pathetic douchebag.”

Bozell, the founder and president of the Media Research Center, wrote Friday that the cable drama’s violent themes revealed the hypocrisy of the liberal media in the wake of the mass shooting in Newtown, Conn.

“After the Newtown school shooting, commentators on the Left expressed outrage that gun-rights groups were exploiting the attack to build membership in the wake of all the liberal demands for a federal crackdown on gun owners,” Bozell wrote. “Nine months later, they’re curiously silent as Rupert Murdoch’s cable network FX milks a fictional Catholic school shooting for commercial gain.”

Bozell accused the FX and the show’s producers, including creator Kurt Sutter, of “making millions” from shocking and degrading content.

Of course he has an agenda,” Bozell said about Sutter. “He has no morals and believes that should be accepted. That is his agenda.”

Sutter saw the column aggregated on Fox Nation, and he angrily responded Saturday on his WhoSay.com page, saying the founder of the Parents Television Council was “desperately trying to create a lobby that matters.”

“After all these years, you and your hate club are still flaccid and impotent,” Sutter wrote. “And the reasons, sir, are quite obvious. You are not very bright, your message is archaic and loving parents can innately sense that the PTC has no heart and no real interest in the betterment of children. “

He mocked Bozell and his group, saying he held little influence as “an angry white guy with an exclusionary plan, using fear and god to spread a gospel of ignorance.”

“You’re a pathetic f*cking douchebag and I bet your own kids f*cking hate you,” Sutter wrote.
