Pam Bondi, the Florida attorney general accused of being bribed by GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, said at the convention in Cleveland that his rival on the Democratic ticket, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton deserves "no security clearance."

Bondi has been hit with a bribery complaint for personally soliciting a $25,000 campaign. At the time, her office was reviewing complaints from Floridians about Trump University. She dropped the investigation after receiving the donation, and critics say it was quid pro quo.

Clinton was investigated by the FBI, but not charged, for using a private email server for official business as secretary of state and failing to handle classified material properly.

"How do you become president of the United States when you have no security clearance," Bondi said to the Cleveland crowd on Wednesday. "This lawlessness must stop right here, right now. Donald Trump will stop it. Lock her up, I love that."
