According to an exclusive report at Mediaite, the former wife of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones said she will be writing an op-ed "trashing" both her husband and NBC host Megyn Kelly for excluding her from a controversial report scheduled for broadcast this weekend.

With NBC is already reeling from viewer backlash over the plan to air the interview with the Infowars founder, prompting advertisers to pull their ads from the network, Jones' wife threat cast another cloud over Kelly whose beginning at NBC after leaving Fox has been rocky.

According to the report, Kelly Jones  approached the producers of Megyn Kelly’s program this week and demanded to be included. Pointing out that the interview with Alex Jones had already been completed, the network left in Kelly's hands if she wanted to add a separate segment with the ex-wife, despite her threats.

Kelly reportedly demurred saying she felt Kelly Jones' appearance would end up looking like a 'hit piece," saying,  "I’m not going to a hit piece.”
