President Donald Trump's son, Don Jr. claimed that his father has "been proven right about it every time" he's tweeted an attack on someone. It's for that reason that Trump's tweets attacking Mayor Sadiq Khan were perfectly justified in the junior Trump's mind.

"Every time he puts something out there he gets criticized by the media. All day, every day," Trump Jr. told “Good Morning America.” "And guess what, he's been proven right about it, every time. We keep saying, 'it's going to be great' and 'hold fast,' 'we're going to keep calm and carry on.' Maybe we have to keep calm and actually do something. And I think that's what he's trying to say because he's been proven right about it every time."

Trump attacked Khan for asking the citizens of London not to panic about the increase of officers on the streets with weapons. Trump misrepresented what Khan said and has tweeted out multiple attacks against the mayor in the few days following a terrorist attack on his city. He's drawn criticism for a careless and tactless commentary during a difficult time for the leader.

Trump's other son Eric was asked about the Russian probe and called it "the greatest hoax of all time."

"It, without a question, reads and smells like a witch hunt," Donald Trump Jr. agreed.
