Daily Caller founder and bowtie aficionado Tucker Carlson on Monday responded to Donald Trump’s much-maligned decision to look directly at the solar eclipse—despite caution from newscasters, aides and basically everyone in the world—by doing what boosters do best: praising him.
“Even the president saw it, but—in a move that is not a complete surprise—he looked directly at the sun without any glasses,” Carlson said Monday. “Perhaps the most impressive thing a president’s ever done.”
Internet users were quick to point out the Fox News host was probably joking, but also recognized “parody became reality” with Carlson’s proclamation
