Megyn Kelly debuted as a talk show host Monday morning, and she made a few clumsy mistakes.
The former Fox News anchor welcomed the cast of NBC's "Will & Grace," which returns to the air after 11 years off, to her new talk show for the network, and one self-described superfan got a chance to meet the actors who inspired him.
"Is it true that you became a lawyer and you became gay because of Will?" Kelly asked.
The guest started to tell Kelly about his youthful admiration for the character, but she cut him off and handed him a microphone -- and he gamely repeated himself.
Kelly then told the guest that he'd won tickets to a taping of the sitcom, along with a backstage tour, and she awkwardly ended the segment.
"I don't know about the lawyer thing, but I think the 'Will & Grace' thing and the gay thing are going to work out great," Kelly said, patting him on the shoulder.
