CNN host Jake Tapper on Wednesday noted that when it comes to criticism, President Donald Trump is able to dish it out to just about everyone — except his Russian counterpart.
Responding to reports that the president was "furious" at the supposed leaker who revealed to the Washington Post that Trump either ignored or didn't see a national security briefing warning him in all-caps not to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his electoral win, Tapper pointed out that there's more to the story than the leaks.
"President Trump, to this day, has said nastier things publicly about me, [fellow CNN host] Don Lemon, [MSNBC host] Chuck Todd, Meryl Streep and the cast of "Hamilton" than he has a former KGB operative and current human rights repressed Vladimir Putin," the host said.
