Vanessa Trump has filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr., Page Six reports.

The news comes one day after the entertainment tabloid reported Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump were experiencing marital problems and “living separate lives.”

“The problems have been there for a long time, the couple had hoped to stay together during the president’s time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues,” a source told Page Six. “He’s never there.”

In additions to problems surrounding Trump Jr.’s schedule, Page Six notes the couple was also struggling to resolve issues pertaining to his “controversial tweets.”

The couple wed in 2005; Vanessa Trump filed for divorce in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday. As Page Six reports, she “filed for an uncontested proceeding, meaning she’s not expected a legal battle over custody of the couple’s five children or their assets.”
