During the Thursday political panel on "The Lead," host Jake Tapper and his group of political commentators couldn't help but mock President Donald Trump for his nickname for former FBI Director James Comey.

The Republican National Committee has unleashed a website called Lyin' Comey while Fox News and Trump are making sure to reinforce the nickname. The mockery is the same as one Trump gave to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) during the 2016 election. He then tried the nickname out on former rival Hillary Clinton.

Previous nicknames for Comey by Trump include, Sanctimonious James Comey and Leakin' James Comey.

"I think there's a consensus on the panel that 'Lyin' Comey' isn't up to snuff," Tapper closed his show saying. "People are not impressed with that nickname, Mr. President. So, you might want to get back to the drawing board on that."
